Well, I got a girl, she lives upon the hill
Sometimes she won't, sometimes I think she will
Got to shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
I love you baby, tell you the reason why
Every time you leave me, go a way down and die
You got to shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Oh, go on baby, go on back to school
Oh, go on baby, go on back to school
Well, your mama told me, nothing but a fool
Got to shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
Shake your moneymaker
The lyrics of Julian Sas's "Shake Your Money Maker" narrate a man's expression of his affection for a girl who lives on a hill. He talks about his passionate love for her, and how it hurts him whenever she leaves. He implores her to shake her moneymaker, which is a metaphor for dancing and expressing oneself freely. Throughout the song, the man is constantly singing about how much he loves his girl, and is urging her to be free and dance with him because that is what truly makes them both happy.
Overall, the lyrics of the song are very upbeat, positive, and romantic, and they are meant to empower people to feel free to express themselves through their bodies. The message of the song encourages people to let go of their insecurities and negative thoughts, and instead focus on having a good time, especially with the ones you care about. The song is a classic blues rock tune that is easy to sing and dance to, and it brings out the festive and fun-loving side of anyone who hears it.
