Si bien, Julieta Venegas ha comentado que está canción la escribió como resultado de lo que vive Mèxico. Tambien, S los sencillos promocionales de este disco son capaces de formar una historia XD. En el primer sencillo "Te vi", es claro que se habla de una persona a la que le rompen el corazòn. Despuès de este acto, la persona cambia completamente y expresa esa transformación en "Tuve para dar". Como un acto de maduración, el o la protagonista de la historia suelta dicha situación y concluye con el sencillo Volver a empezar.

Si se dan cuenta la chica de blusa ROJA representa la violencia y la agresividad, creando furia a las personas del vídeo. Por otro lado Julieta Venegas representa la serenidad y armonía con el color VERDE. Al final todos vestidos de NEGRO Y BLANCO representando el yin yang, el balance del bien y el mal. WOW, me encanta que Julieta haga este tipo de mensajes y letras, también pienso que hizo referencia a México con respecto a los problemas de inseguridad y violencia en las lineas "Era tan feliz era todo alegría en mi ciudad" "Pero mi sangre corrió y todo lleno a mi alrededor, hoy inspiro temor, nadie se acerca hasta donde estoy" ..
