Suicide Dive Bombers
Juliette Lewis Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
It's a false colored world
One of kings and misfits
Bombs and renagades babe
Now where do you fit in?
Paint the colors in love
Recollect the dawn
Doctors sparing everyone
Bathed in devils blood
Now wash your hands girl
You're on the run now
It's the great rock 'n' roll show
It's got no place to go
Suicide dive bombers
You leave the times behind you
Take a look ahead
The future is ours forever
Now you see this path
Has all been layed out
And some stones are yellow or gret
Littered with guillotine and razorblades
I lost my mind more than once
Shine the light (shine the light)
Shine the light (shine the light)
Shine the light
We're all revolutionaries in a way
So don't you ever be afraid
It's the great rock 'n' roll show
It's got no place to go
Suicide dive bombers
You leave the times behind you
Take a look ahead
The future is ours forever
The movers and shakers
On the wings of undertakers
It's the great rock 'n' roll show
It's got no place to go
Suicide dive bombers
You leave the times behind you
Take a look ahead
The future is ours forever
This day will pass
I'm tellin' you
The future is ours forever!
The song "Suicide Dive Bombers" by Juliette Lewis is a high-energy rock anthem that speaks to the revolutionary spirit of those who choose to live outside the confines of societal norms. The lyrics suggest a world that is false and colored by the whims of kings and misfits, where bombs and renegades roam. In such a world, it can be difficult to find a place to fit in, but the song encourages the listener to paint the colors of love and look ahead to a future that belongs to us all. The chorus is a call to action for those willing to take on the great rock 'n' roll show, a place where the future is limitless and the present is all that matters.
The verses of the song paint a vivid picture of a world that is both chaotic and liberating. Doctors and poets walk hand in hand with entertainers and renegades, all bathed in devil's blood. The images of guillotines and razor blades are juxtaposed with the idea that we are all revolutionaries in our own way, and that the future belongs to those who are brave enough to stand up and be counted. The final chorus is a powerful statement of hope, reminding the listener that the future is their own, and that with a little bit of courage, anything is possible.
