Jullie is one of the greatest TV stars of Brazilian music and classifying one of Brazil's most powerful in the world.
Born in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, Jullie moved to Vitória, Brazil to pursue a acting career. In 1998 she appeared in TV shows Xuxa Park, Gente Inocente and Criança Esperança. Jullie also landed her first starring role in Mais Uma Vez Amor, released in February 2005, interpreting the character Lia. In 2005 she began her career as a voice actress. Jullie lent her voice to many Brazilian versions of movies and TV series, including Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl and Katie in Total Drama Island.
Her debut album Hey!, was released in September 22, 2009 influenced by singers like Lily Allen, Madonna, Alanis Morissette, and its main reference, Katy Perry, directed to a feminist position. The album was praised by the young, calling Jullie as "Brazilian Katy Perry" for her music style and way of dressing. The first single "Alice" was released in April and the second single "Hey!" was released in November, 2009. In February, 2010, "Tudo Pode Mudar" was released for the Brazilian TV series Malhação. On August 2 was released a version of the Demi Lovato's song, "Wouldn’t Change A Thing", with the title "Eu Não Mudaria Nada Em Você" featuring Joe Jonas for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam: International Soundtrack. She also voiced Roxy, the character of the show Winx Club.

In Jullie's song "Gasolina", the singer is expressing her infatuation with a boy who might not be the best for her. She enjoys the adrenaline rush that he gives her, so much so that she asks him to pour gasoline on her to accelerate that feeling. She knows that he's not trustworthy, and she tries to resist him, but he's just too irresistible. The repetition of the chorus emphasizes the point that the singer likes the thrill of being with this man, despite the risk.
The lyrics suggest that the boy she's singing about might be a bad influence on her, and that she's aware of the danger in being with him.
