Following his move into electronic music in 2002, Caldera was given a residency at D! Club in Lausanne and in 2003 he won a mixing contest and was awarded to opportunity to warm up for David Guetta. He later moved on to electronic dance music and in 2007, his track "Sexy" became popular in many French clubs, reaching the top 5 of the French Club Charts. Following this success, Caldera was invited to remix tracks by various notable artists, including the Pussycat Dolls, Enrique Iglesias and Paul Van Dyk.
Caldera continued to work on his solo career, and on 18 May 2009 he released his first studio album, Debut, which reached a peak position of #193 in the French albums chart. The album featured guest a performance from Sophie Ellis-Bextor. To date, Caldera has released three official singles; "Feel It" was released in February 2008 but failed to chart, and "Sleeping Satellite" (a house remix of the Tasmin Archer track) was brought out on 15 September 2008 and reached a respectable #37 in the French singles chart, staying in the chart for 12 weeks. His highest charting single so far was "The Way", which managed a peak position of #22 in France and has, as of 13 October 2009, been in the chart for 25 consecutive weeks.

They keep killing our people, they know that it's wrong
What are we to do ? Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
It's the way that it's going on
They keep killing our people, they know that it's wrong
What are we to do ? Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Till the world is one with so many faces and so many races
Seems like no one can face it, I'm tired and naked
Days go by, I feel helpless and wander with tears I cry
You know I try, we gotta break the chains so that we can smile
It's the way that it's going on
They keep killing our people, they know that it's wrong
What are we to do ? Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
It's the way that it's going on
They keep killing our people, they know that it's wrong
What are we to do ? Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Will there ever be an end to it ? And we are ready for new start
I promise that you will never regret a love that cannot be torn apart
It's the way that it's going on
They keep killing our people, they know that it's wrong
What are we to do ? Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
It's the way that it's going on
They keep killing our people, they know that it's wrong
What are we to do ? Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
The lyrics to Junior Caldera's song 'The Way' convey a sense of hopelessness and despair in the face of ongoing violence and injustice. The repeated phrase "It's the way that it's going on" highlights the pervasive and seemingly unending nature of the problem. The singer pleads for a solution to the senseless killing of innocent people, acknowledging that those responsible for it know that it is wrong. The lyrics suggest a feeling of powerlessness and desperation, as the singer wonders what can be done in the face of such overwhelming violence and injustice. The reference to "so many faces and so many races" highlights the diversity of the world and the fact that violence affects people from all backgrounds. The final lines of the song offer a glimmer of hope, suggesting that love can overcome even the most entrenched and destructive forms of injustice and oppression.
