Here's To You
Just Jinger Lyrics

'Cause it's not over yet
There is still time
And some things left unsaid
But stand proud
Stand tall
Look round
Here's to you
You've found
Yourself
And it's about time
Unspoken words
Lead to hours of time
Time is what stands
In the way of what was
But stand proud
Stand tall
Look round
You've done the impossible and
Here's to you
You've found
Yourself
And it's about time
Everyone knows
That you won't be told no
Any
Anymore
Anymore
Anymore
Let it be known
That the test has begun
People have died
And their lives left unsung
But stand proud
Stand tall
Look round
You've done the impossible and
Here's to you
You've found
Yourself
Stand proud
Stand tall
Look round
You've done the impossible and
Here's to, here's to you
You've found
Yourself
And it's about time
The lyrics to "Here's To You" by Just Jinger is an anthem for those who have faced adversity and overcome it. The singer is addressing someone who has been through a tough time and is feeling unsure about the future. The opening lines, "Please don't be fooled, 'cause it's not over yet, there is still time, and some things left unsaid" convey a message of reassurance to the listener. The singer acknowledges that things may not have gone as planned, and there are still things left unspoken, but it's not too late to make amends and move forward.
The chorus of the song, "But stand proud, stand tall, look around, you've done the impossible and here's to you, you've found yourself, and it's about time," is a celebration of the person's strength and perseverance. The singer is urging the listener to be proud of their accomplishments and to take a moment to appreciate how far they have come. The reference to "unspoken words" and "hours of time" indicates that the person may have faced challenges that required a lot of patience and understanding.
The second verse of the song references the idea of "the test" and how people have died without their voices being heard. This could be interpreted as a reference to social injustices or personal struggles that have been kept hidden away. The lines, "Everyone knows that you won't be told no, any more, any more, any more" suggest that the person has gained the confidence to stand up for themselves and face any obstacle that comes their way.
Overall, "Here's To You" is an uplifting song that encourages listeners to persevere and celebrate their victories. The lyrics are empowering, and the melody is catchy, making it a popular song to sing along to.
