Justin Bieber Lyrics

I was wonderin' 'bout your mama
Did she get that job she wanted?
Sell that car that gave her problems?
I'm just curious 'bout her, honest
Know you're wonderin' why I've been callin'
Know we didn't end this so good
But you know we had something so good
So I'm wondering, can we still be friends? (oh-oh)
Can we still be friends? (oh-oh)
Doesn't have to end
And if it ends, can we be friends?
Can we be friends?
Can we be friends?
Wonderin' if you got a body
To hold you tight since I left
Wonderin' if you think about me
Actually, don't answer that
Know you're wonderin' why I've been callin'
Like I've got ulterior motives
Know we didn't end this so good
But you know we had something so good
So I'm wondering, can we still be friends? (oh-oh)
Can we still be friends? (oh-oh)
Doesn't have to end
And if it ends, can we be friends?
Can we be friends?
And if it ends, can we be friends?
Know you're wonderin' why I've been callin'
Like I've got ulterior motives
Know we didn't end this so good
But you know we had something so good
I'm wondering, can we still be friends? (oh-oh)
Can we still be friends? (oh-oh)
Doesn't have to end
And if it ends, can we be friends?
In Justin Bieber's song "Friends," he addresses an ex-girlfriend by wondering about her mom, her job, and her car. He honestly admits to being curious about her life and highlights his intentions for calling her. He's questioning if they can be friends again even though their past romantic relationship ended badly. He acknowledges that they had a good thing going on in the past and he's coming from a place of genuine interest and care.
The song is essentially about longing for connection and wanting to keep someone in your life, even if it means being just friends. Bieber is honest and straightforward with his intentions, admitting to wanting to stay friends and not wanting their relationship to end poorly. He's seeking redemption and a chance to rekindle their connection.
Overall, the lyrics of "Friends" convey the message of hope for a continued relationship with an ex-lover. By asking "can we still be friends?" Bieber is showing a vulnerability that many can relate to, and the simplicity of the message combined with an upbeat tempo make the song a catchy tune.

Why did this song disappear lol. I feel like this is a song that should’ve blown up big, but for some reason didn’t. The forgotten Bieber single.
@ShipDeckSurvivor
Dan Golden god dammit, I know. Not only would it have been a huge progression for Bieber but a huge progression for the synth-pop scene as well.
