Born and raised in Tennessee, as a child he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. Timberlake won two Grammy Awards for his R&B-focused debut solo album Justified (2002) and its single "Cry Me a River". Another single from the album, "Rock Your Body", was also successful.
His critically acclaimed second album FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006), characterized by its diversity in music genres, debuted atop the U.S. Billboard 200 and spawned the Hot 100 consecutive number-one singles with "SexyBack", "My Love" and "What Goes Around... Comes Around". Established as a solo artist worldwide, his first two albums both exceeded sales of 10 million copies, as he continued producing records and collaborating with other artists.
From 2008 through 2012, Timberlake focused on his acting career, effectively putting his music career on hiatus. He held starring roles in the films The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends with Benefits, and In Time.
Timberlake resumed his music career in 2013 with his third and fourth albums The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2, exploring neo soul styles, partly inspired by the expansive song structures of 1960s and 1970s rock. The former became the best-selling album of the year and spawned the top three singles "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors". Timberlake voiced Branch in DreamWorks Animation's Trolls (2016), whose soundtrack includes his fifth Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping single, "Can't Stop the Feeling!", which earned him an Academy Award nomination. His fifth studio album Man of the Woods (2018) became his fourth number-one album in the US. Supported by the two top ten singles, "Filthy" and "Say Something", it concluded 2018 as the sixth best-selling album of the year.

All the way from Memphis, Tennesse
Show him some southern love
JT and the Tennessee Kids
Come on! Give it up!
We're JT and the Tennessee Kids
Mmm, yeah yeah yeah
Think I'm in love with you
Didn't have to run, I knew it was love from a mile away
But I had to catch you, running through my mind all day baby
They all say I'm crazy, cause anybody even when your father say
That I can't be with you, I don't hear what they say
Cause I'm in love with that girl
So don't be mad at me
Cause I'm in love with that girl
So don't be mad at me
So what you're from the other side of the tracks
So what if the world don't think we match
I'll put it down like my love's on wax, guess what
I'm in love with that girl
And she told me, she's in love with me
Now we didn't have to fall, but fell in love to the bottom babe
No one's there to catch us when we fell from heaven that day
People always staring, but I don't care nothing about it babe
Since I saw your face, I've been staring just the same
I'm in love with that girl
So don't be mad at me
Cause I'm in love with that girl
So don't be mad at me
So what you're from the other side of the tracks
So what if the world don't think we match
I'll put it down like my love's on wax, guess what
I'm in love with that girl
And she told me, she's in love with me
My pretty lady
You'll always be my baby, baby, baby
It's so amazing
How you became my baby, baby, baby
My little daisy
Come here let me rock you like a baby, baby, baby
Pretty lady
Don't you know, you'll always be my baby, baby, baby
Now don't it seem like these days
That everybody's got something to say
But I don't pay attention to the talk baby
And I don't really care if they stop and stare
Because they see my number one
My number one girl
I told you I'm in love with that girl
So don't be mad at me
I'm in love with that girl
So don't be mad at me
I don't care
So what you're from the other side of the tracks
So what if the world don't think we match
I'll put it down like my love's on wax, guess what
I'm in love with that girl
She already told me, that she's in love with me
I'm in love, I'm in love with that girl
I don't care what people say, people say
Cause I'm in love with that girl
The song "That Girl" by Justin Timberlake was released in 2006 and became a hit single from his second solo album, "FutureSex/LoveSounds." The song is a love song that describes falling in love with someone from a different background or social status.
The lyrics of the song suggest that the singer has fallen in love with a girl who is from the "other side of the tracks," implying that she comes from a less privileged background than himself. Despite this, the singer is unapologetically in love with her and is willing to disregard what others may say or think about their relationship. The lyrics also suggest that the two fell in love very quickly and that they are very happy together.
Overall, "That Girl" is a cheerful, upbeat song that celebrates love and defies social expectations. It is ultimately a feel-good pop song that highlights Timberlake's range as a songwriter and performer.

on Want You To Know
Sound's a calm, when we become the animals that we're made in the jungle
Why you staying so far away?
Running men is looking on, why
Why don't you come out to play
And get closer to your animal, inside
Baby I act like the gentleman that your mother would love, ooh get to me
Baby you act like a lady, don't have to cover it up, things you wanna show me
Make me remember the reason why I wanted to love, please be slowly
I think you're ready to try, walk a little closer and
Now take me to your jungle, I'm not afraid
And if you're looking for your animal, hop in my cage
Fall in a terror of height, don't talk
Come in, come in, baby what I don't know, I want
Come in, come in, baby what I don't know, I want
Come in, come in, baby what I don't know, I want
Come in, come in, baby what I don't know, don't know, I want
Come in, come in, baby what I don't know, I want
Show me your t-shirt, and sweat your sling
Down and dirty, you're loving me so loud
Play it breeze, but you wild as a strain
Side show in front of the whole crowd
Baby I act like the gentleman that your mother would love, ooh get to me
Baby you act like a lady, don't have to cover it up, things you wanna show me
Make me remember the reason why I wanted to love, please be slowly
