the first half of this video is just "if people cared about PH more" and the second half is just "if fugo had more confidence in himself and joined them"
the ending of this video actually makes sense for fugo's character and i like how nobody dies and trish still somehow gets spice girl, she probably got SG while still being on the plane due to moody blues' bad pilot and she used SG to save their asses
but then again, i personally don't blame fugo for leaving, it makes sense. he can't control his stand well and it's a literal walking killing machine. sure it can kill diavolo but in order for that to happen, fugo and diavolo would have to be locked in a room together and fugo would have to use PH to kill the both of them, otherwise, diavolo can just use KC to skip time and leave fugo for dead. besides, he only knew trish for like 2 days, obviously he wasn't going to die for her, the gang risked their lives earlier because it was an order and it didn't involve betraying the boss, but after that, it involved betraying the boss and its no longer a simple matter. fugo merely chose himself over trish and that's what i would do as well. if fugo had spent more time with trish and can control PH, he most likely would've went. fugo only thought about his own flaws and the bigger picture of the situation, that's why he didn't join. the others mainly joined because they trusted bucciarati more while narancia saw himself in trish. fugo probably did trust bucciarati as well, just that he feared his ability too much and believed that the mission was stupid and a one way ticket to death, which to be fair, was right
now i'm just referring to VA/GW for this, nothing from PHF, i haven't finished it yet. fugo is actually a nice and well-written character, just that he was underused
also, when i found out that araki originally wanted fugo to be a traitor but decided against it because he was getting depressed so he wrote fugo out completely. i thought of something:
araki should've still included fugo at the very end when they all swapped bodies, fugo swapped with like a random bird and have bucciarati and the gang to think that fugo was actually betraying them, but in the very next chapter when giorno almost killed fugo, he revealed that he's pretending to betray the boss by chirping in morse code. fugo also revealed that he believed that the boss might kill narancia so he told giorno to turn one of his virus capsules into a cheetah in order to get to narancia in time and get him away from diavolo and that worked. but narancia isn't immune to PH's virus and the capsule broke infront of narancia (who's in giorno's body) while narancia was slowly dying, he switched back with giorno, who's immune to PH's virus, saving narancia. everything else happens the same way except narancia also witnessed bucciarati's death with giorno and giorno told narancia to not tell the others and keep his emotions in check if they still wanted to defeat diavolo. fugo's real body was at the colosseum and he saw that bucciarati was dead and ran to the rest to let them know but narancia signalled for him to remain slient. everything else remained the same after that
i personally think that it would make sense for fugo's character since he cared about everyone else (not really trish but yeah you get my point) a lot so if he could protect them from a side without a huge risk of dying, he would. i personally think that he would be impressed by trish and her stand as well, and might even start to befriend her after that

i gotta say, diavalo should of skipped time, he can get to fugo without anyone of them attacking him, then impale fugo, and even if was moody jazz, he can time skip again and kill the real fugo, and the team wouldn't think he skipped time tho, and noticing one of them dead would scare them a bit as a distraction, and fugo would die, but thats only if fugo was in the range cause he may not have enough time, 30 seconds is alot tho.
