Born March 9, 1991, Kendricke D. Brown began his musical journey in the small town of Cartersville, GA; just 40 miles northwest of Atlanta. At age 15, Brown signed his first record deal with Blackshield Entertainment, based out of Atlanta, GA, and worked alongside producers Fatboi and Shawty Redd, and songwriter/artist Kalenna (formerly of Diddy-Dirty Money). A few years later, Brown aka โK-Swagโ and the label parted ways allowing him to set his sights on larger horizons. Brown eventually changed his stage name from K-Swag to K-Major, an ode to his favorite octave on the musical scale and a constant reminder of his first love: music.
In 2010, as a student of the Art Institute of Atlanta, Brown established his own record label and publishing company, 3MG Entertainment (MasterMinds Music Group). Following the success of multiple releases including his first single โMy Songโ off of the self-entitled mixtape The MAJORity Rules, K-Major discontinued his studies and began to pursue a full time career in music. After reaching the national spotlight with live performances on BETโs 106 & Park Wild-Out-Wednesday and BETโs Blaze the Stage, his music began to spread throughout the country. K-Major also tacked on multiple accolades landing song placements on BETโs series The Game, VH-1โs Hit the Floor, ABCโs Lincoln Heights, and the WWE film Knuckleheads.
After signing a recording contract with Redzone Entertainment/Capitol Records, K-Major hit the ground running releasing controversial singles โSmashinโ and โA lot of Cashโ feat Young Thug off of his album iMJVOR. In 2014, upon his release from Capitol Records, K-Major signed a co-publishing agreement with Redzone Entertainment and Kobalt Music Publishing. Since then, K-Major has racked up an impressive body of music working alongside the Grammy Award winning duo, The Dream and Tricky Stewart, and contributing to songs by major R&B, Hip-Hop, and Pop artists such as French Montana (co-producer โMosesโ feat Chris Brown and Migos), Jacquees (writer โPerfectโ, co-writer/producer โFeel Itโ feat Lloyd & Rich Homie Quan), and Future (co-producer โSaluteโ). In the midst of writing and producing ground breaking hits for other artists, K-Major continues to create exciting new music for his fans. His prior releases include "A Lot of Cash" feat Young Thug (2014), a creative collaboration with DJ Spinz entitled "Pursuit of Happiness" (2014), "Free Yourself" by DJ Scream & K-Major (2015), and "Shut It Down" feat August Alsina (2015) off of his first independent album Category V (2015) currently available worldwide.

About yo talents
All they want
Is yo off balance
Look at you
Like your so childish
They would never
Let you in the palace
Tell them
Let me in hear
Let them
Know you in here
Wishing on a star
Hope it take you far
Please don't break your heart
Wishing on a dream
Hope you make the means
Please don't please make a scene
Dreamer
Dreaming with the rest of the dreamers
The Dreamers
The Dreamers
Dreamer
Dreaming with the rest of the dreamers
The Dreamers
The Dreamers
They don't want you
On this land
They don't got you
In Gods plans
They don't care
Where you from
Stay prepared
To be expunged
And that's no fun
Tell them
Let me in hear
Let them
Know you in here
Wishing on a star
Hope it take you far
Please don't break your heart
Wishing on a dream
Hope you make the means
Please don't please make a scene
Dreamer
Dreaming with the rest of the dreamers
The Dreamers
The Dreamers
Dreamer
Dreaming with the rest of the dreamers
The Dreamers
The Dreamers
Dreamer
Dreaming with the rest of the dreamers
Baby keep on dreaming
Keep yo dreams
Just keep believing
Dreamer
Dreaming with the rest of the dreamers
Baby keep on dreaming
Keep yo dreams
Just keep believing
Just keep believing
Just keep believing
Just keep believing
Just keep believing
In K-Major's song Dreamer, the lyrics highlight the struggles that individuals face when trying to pursue their dreams. The song suggests that society and those with power often disregard individuals with talents and potential, and instead prioritize those who are already established or those who fit a certain mold. The lyrics encourage listeners to keep dreaming and believing in themselves, even when faced with rejection and adversity.
The opening lyrics "They don't care about yo talents, all they want is yo off balance" suggest that individuals who are trying to make it in their respective field may feel like their talents and abilities are not enough. Instead, success may depend on factors such as connections, appearance, and other arbitrary qualities that have nothing to do with talent. The line "They would never let you in the palace" indicates that those in power often reserve opportunities for their own kind, disregarding the potential of others.
The song's chorus repeats the word "dreamer" as a way of affirming and celebrating the pursuit of dreams. The lyrics encourage listeners to keep dreaming and wishing, but also offer a warning to "please don't break your heart" and not get discouraged when faced with setbacks. The lines "They don't want you on this land, they don't got you in God's plans" suggest that societal biases and roadblocks are often insurmountable, which can make it difficult for individuals to feel like they are on the right path towards achieving their goals.
Overall, the song's lyrics speak to the common struggles that individuals face when trying to realize their dreams. The song encourages listeners to keep dreaming and believing, even when faced with obstacles that may seem insurmountable.
