Salt
K.C. McKanzie; M.C. McKanzie Lyrics

Stole some strawberries
Drove up into a parking
The ticket was for free
Striped houses along the stream
All I may promise is that
this is not a dream
Ten hours sitting
In blue boxes just to see
green lime juice in a can
You always said you prefer tea
Took the train up to a mountain
Jumped back on the street
Saw some squares turn to powder
All you want is beans
The air is stiff
I wonder who will bleed
Ten hours sitting
In blue boxes just to see
Green lime juice in a can
You said that you prefer tea
Some green lime juice in a can
Makes me all salty
Some green lime juice in a can
Makes me all salty
Striped houses along the stream
The only promise I can make
Is that this ain't a dream
Ten hours sitting
In blue boxes just to see
Bit by a lion scratched by a friend
The song "Salt" by M.C. McKanzie captures the essence of a surreal experience with vivid imagery and metaphors. The lyrics describe stealing strawberries from a supermarket and driving to a parking lot with a free ticket. The setting then moves to a stream with striped houses and the singer promises that this is reality and not a dream. The next verse describes a ten-hour journey to see lime juice in a can, which the singer's friend prefers over tea. The final verse expresses the experience of being bit by a lion and scratched by a friend. The chorus repeats the line "Some green lime juice in a can makes me all salty" and reiterates the promise that the scene is not a dream.
Overall, the lyrics suggest a sense of confusion and frustration with mundane experiences that ultimately leads to a feeling of bitterness or "saltiness". The symbolism of the lime juice in a can as a preferred drink over tea highlights the singer's longing for something different or exotic. The mention of being bit by a lion and scratched by a friend may also represent the emotional pain and betrayal that the singer feels.

Super helpful! It's a shame these are designed to be so wasteful.

I was wondering how to open up my peppermill and the first video I came to I watched. In less than a minute I knew how. Life is full of little victories and this is one of them. Thanks for making and posting this!

Great tip, although I struggled with my type of grinder. What I found useful was to pour hot water on the plastic to make it softer and use a flat screwdriver to pry it open. It may chip the glass a bit, so still not perfect

Try the hairdryer. Heat cap area for 60 seconds and it pulls right off!
