C.E.O. LIFESTYLE
When I wake up
I say my morning prayer
They create the rules life ain't always fair
Rip out my eye lids
I see my kids starving
Send that PLUSH Vodka to ya club get it poppin
No show stopper
I move about the dollar
If a broke hoe getcha off ya balance
Call a doctor
Turn into a leechi for these benjis kinda sneaky
She wanna first class take a vacay to Okeke
Like a pirate drive the boat
$1000 water coat
When they left me all alone
All I had was some hope
I opened closed doors
That's the gift that I choose
Now I talk to GOD on 11th floor
Aint no more corner store
Ain't no more asking my partners
Can I wear they clothes
I'm feeling wavy
Im more in touch with my spiritual
Be talking to GOD on the daily yea
I'm blessed Fasho
Hungry for them racks
She like Chuk please pick up the phone
Ayoo leave me lone I finally got my own yea
Finally started real estate don't need to take no loan
Finally got that PLUSH Vodka
In the club making money
Finally got that Rolls truck glad I ain't loose hope
Finally got that book sold out at the store
Finally made it up to that hardwood floor
Orlando play the New York knicks October 24th
Don't be the rotten egg of the crew
I'm Humble but I'll shoot ya
Then I throw you out the coupe
On a quest to get a billion
I Stack
The money way up it ain't no celines
Was allergic penicillin
Now the spirit through my vanes keep me living
Wake up and see the sunshine
Sometimes I get to tripping
How I make it so far
Failed everything I did
I dodged the hate
It take the soul out these kids
I motivate
I just tell the life I live
Ayoo leave me lone I finally got my own yea
Finally started real estate don't need to take no loan
Finally got that PLUSH Vodka

In the club making money
Finally got that Rolls truck glad I ain't loose hope

Absolutely! Sending you tons of Love from Washington, D.C.!! I'm here for you and everyone reading this post. We have some deep souls right here. We're connected by the Love of Music! I remember when my Brother first dropped this song. My Brother Sam "The Man" Burns knew this was One of my life anthems. He spoke through his music to everybody! He always knew when someone needed to hear Julie sing! Every time he would play this track it was a different life experience. Putting life into perspective and letting go of what no longer serves you. That's the power of MUSIC. I honor my dance floor time. Dancers have been my lifelong lifelines for 20+ years. I'm humbled and honored to listen to it again in 2021. It still pushes me through, Lisa!! Anyone reading this post know that you are so loved and you're never alone. What makes my heartstrings pull even more so my brother Sam passed away two years ago. DC Family is stronger than ever because Sam taught us well. He taught us how to get through even the toughest battles. Life isn't easy and as long as we are together. Friendship and connection. We can heal and recover. The lyrics have a new meaning new life experience. May music continue to feed your heart, body, mind, and soul. I got your back, Lisa. I was meant to find this thread. Yesterday I dealt with losing my Dad. Sam was always there for me. He was the One I call on. It was my Dad's 11th death anniversary yesterday. I'm so used to going to Eighteenth Street Lounge and being with DC Family. Now I am without Sam and my Dad. I miss them so much it hurts. I played this music and it took on a whole new meaning! I feel loved and comforted. I thought about all the good memories. Music always brings me back to the present Moment. Thank goodness for lyrics! I absolute love this song. I just had to deal with a shitty thread from my old hometown earlier today. I remember Finally. I can exhale again. Closed my eyes and listen. This timeless gem will always feed our Souls. For that I am so grateful and thankful. Love me some Defected Records!! Hit me up and let's dance!!! Much LOVE. Thanks for reading!

It's 2024 and we're still listening this masterpiece. One of the best end of set/night end tunes. Great memories!

Unbelievable tune!

I met my daughter's father in 1997. We had an amazing night dancing to this, well I say dancing... 😉. Of course she wasn't created, not even a thought, but this brings me right back to the night we met and now we have her. She's 21 now. Memories are wonderful, especially when they're good ones.

The first time I heard this song was in the early 2000s at Pacha in Ibiza during a Subliminal party. Erik Morillo played this track. The atmosphere was hot, a beautiful girl knew the lyrics of the song by heart and sang it while dancing in a sensual way against me. What a night! What memories!
