Hip-hopové uskupení s názvem K.O. Kru založili Hack s Phatem kolem roku 1998. Debutovalo vinylovým singlem Nádech / Náš cíl, který v roce 2001 vydal P.A.trick records. Tento singl se objevil společně s Wichovým remixem na celočeské kompilaci Lyrik Derby 1.
Phat v roce 2002 začal nahrávat u P.A.trick records, avšak v polovině desky odešel a jeho sólová práce Frekvence P.H.A.T. vyšla u vydavatelství PSH – Terrorist?. Na albu hostovali například LA4, Vladimir 518 a taky Hack. Produkoval si ji z části sám, částečně mu s ní vypomohli pražští Wich, Enemy a Hack. Obsahovala méně samplování, více syntetických a elektronických zvuků, specifický beat a velký důraz na rap.
K.O. Kru společně po sólo pauze vytvořilo svůj další singl Kéry, který se objevil na kompilaci From Amsterdam To Praha na labelu Maddrum rec.

See the bottle yeah you know we gonna have to sprite that
33 like I'm Pippen no you can't despite that
Say that I get mad hoes, shit right that
Throw a left know brody can't even strike back
Threw the hoe over my sholder I know she like that
Bitches hit my phone with they motherfuckin hands out
They know its me when I got my chain out
Cloud to the sky shit it might ran out
Bro took a perc and then turned into a zombie
I'm number 1 bitch you can't stop me
Claim thats your hoe then why'd she give me sloppy
Fuck about a bitch yeah they just naughty
King of this shit bitch wheres my crown
Red and purple in my cup yeah that shit turning brown
Blunt to the face yeah we chillin in the lounge
Met up with a skinny bitch she from outta town
Wok by my side if I'm ever feeling down
Puffin on that blunt yeah then we blow a cloud
Moonrocks in the j yeah you know its round

Diamonds on my teeth so they think I ain't intelligent
Bro big boy thinking he an elephant
Remeber all the partys boy we ain't ever let em' in
Op at the door nevermind letterman
Js on the feel yeah you know we like that
Walk into the building yeah I know you can't fight that
See the bottle yeah you know we gonna have to sprite that
33 like I'm Pippen no you can't despite that
Say that I get mad hoes, shit right that
Throw a left know brody can't even strike back
Threw the hoe over my sholder I know she like that
Bitches hit my phone with they motherfuckin hands out
Introduced the 9 then brody had ran out
They know its me when I got my chain out
Cloud to the sky shit it might ran out
Boom boom boom boom
And then bro started grippin on the gun
Shooting all them bullets yeah just for the fun
Came out as king yes I am the one
This that real shit huh
The lyrics of K.O. Kru's song "Zero" delve into the struggles of facing isolation, low self-esteem, and financial hardships. The opening lines of the chorus set the tone for the rest of the song. The repetition of "Mmm Mmm" and "Ohh Ohh" express an apprehensive emotion that the lyrics carry throughout. The first verse describes the advice given by a friend to not let material gains confuse one's morals. The second line speaks of how a single mistake can ruin a person's life. The third line pertains to the value of one's life even after they are gone. The fourth line warns how associating with people who have been caught up with the authorities can lead to one's demise.
The chorus offers a glimpse into the artist's aspirations to become a hero for his/her own community, but at the same time, the artist is made to feel insignificant by outsiders. The phrase the artist uses in the chorus is significant to how low the artist's confidence falls when he faces criticism. The second verse delves into the artist's fears, as he/she struggles to accumulate funds. The lyrics suggest that some people want the artist dead or out of the way for personal gains. In the bridge, the artist opens up about the constant battle within his/her mind. There are moments when the artist feels invincible, yet at times, the negativity takes over leading to feelings of isolation. The final chorus reiterates the artist's feelings of worthlessness and how they had to drop out of school out of sheer desperation.
