Told me to call her Mami she ain't even Spanish
Told me to call her Mami she ain't no parent
Guess I butt heads like Beavis
Can I get a damn like beavers
Can I get a DAMN like Kendrick
Man I'm so good with tha music (Aye)
Told me to call her Mami she ain't even Spanish
Told me to call her Mami she ain't no parent
Pillow talk and pillow fights
Turned to no talk and real fights
Asked you to love me instead you just fucked me
Come on girl why the hell is you bugging
Love is blind lemme keep it hundred
Hit it from the back,she ain't see me coming
No period like e e cummings
So I eat that shit like I got the munchies
Urgh, too much detail-disgusting
Damn, you're are all we discussing
Man, all they want is some loving
Well, guess I gotta keep it coming
Some girls want the tea
Other girls want the D
Some girls got fomo
They all just wanna see
What the commotion about
Please get my name out your mouth
Adult swim is a win -win
Robot chicken a technical fowl
Side piece, capiche
My girl Khaleesi
If she see me dragon my D
In a place that I know it shouldn't be
Trust it'll be war
Whole city be scorched
So get the hell out my DMs before we both get caught
Took a minute to decide
Whether to take em off or pull panties aside
She an easy bake oven ,getting harder to ignore the pi
3 point 1-4, I can't divide
My time between the girl that is mine and the one that wants me cos I can rhyme (Sheesh)
Told me to call her Mami she ain't even Spanish
Told me to call her Mami she ain't no parent
Guess I butt heads like Beavis
Can I get a damn like beavers
Can I get a DAMN like Kendrick
Man I'm so good with tha music (Aye)
Told me to call her Mami she ain't even Spanish
Told me to call her Mami she ain't no parent
Pillow talk and pillow fights
Turned to no talk and real fights
Asked you to love me instead you just fucked me
Come on girl why the hell is you bugging

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Sirens" by K.a.a.n and Bleverly Hills delve into complex themes of relationships, love, and communication. The song starts with the repetition of being asked to call someone "Mami" even though she is not Spanish and not a parent, suggesting a playful dynamic in the relationship. The comparison to Beavis from the animated series "Beavis and Butt-Head" hints at a sense of immaturity or conflict occurring, symbolized by the reference to butt heads. The desire for validation, expressed through wanting a reaction similar to Kendrick Lamar's famous exclamation "Damn," showcases a yearning for recognition and affirmation in the music industry.

As the verse progresses, the tone shifts towards more serious issues within the relationship. The initial playful interactions like pillow talk and fights have turned into real disagreements and emotional distance. The frustration is palpable as the singer laments being misled by promises of love only to be met with physical intimacy devoid of emotional connection. The reference to love being blind and engaging in physical intimacy without emotional depth connects to the vulnerability and complexities of human relationships.

The middle section of the lyrics introduces a mix of explicit and metaphorical language to portray the singer's feelings of confusion and conflict in juggling multiple romantic interests. The mention of "love is blind" contrasts with the raw imagery of physical intimacy and the struggle to divide one's attention between different partners. The metaphorical wordplay around numbers like 3.14 and phrases like "easy bake oven" and "harder to ignore the Pi" adds an abstract layer to the internal conflict faced by the singer in navigating his romantic entanglements.

The song concludes with a return to the initial theme of being asked to call someone "Mami" despite the contradictions in identity and the deteriorating state of the relationship. The aggressive tone in questioning why the other person is acting in a certain way and the plea for understanding and resolution demonstrate the emotional turmoil and frustration experienced. The abrupt ending with the warning of potential consequences if boundaries are crossed adds a sense of tension and urgency to the narrative, leaving the listener with a sense of unresolved conflict and complexity in relationships. The lyrics of "Sirens" resonate with the struggles of communication, intimacy, and emotional authenticity in modern relationships.

@omarkhan135

With the godly lyrics that are brutally honest and console with ya soul. This album doesn't really have any of his really lyrical songs, but he's still beyond lyrical compared to the rappers today

@moehinne4891

different style but still plenty lyrical. Tony & kicks in are songs like level & passing me by. k.a.a.n. uses elaborative brevity as his precision tool to explain or express his inner demons or pain..or whatever. the man and the artist together are brutally honest like omar says. the man is in pain and the artist is showing it to us.

@omarkhan135

YUPPPP! And tony and kicks in are my favorite of this album

@moehinne4891

kicks in is when i'm living in the sun whereas tony helps me to fight the dark
