I was born to lose my breath Slip away forever
Asugaya ga toki demo
Nagai yo wa agesu
Mamotteki wo suru tabi ni mieru Ano keshiki no muka de Sagenukeru
Isolation
My head divide
I don't know Your sadness Where are you?
Slip away forever
Asugaya ga toki demo
Ore no yo wa agesu
Ikiteruka kiriki e wa shinai
Ore wa ni matte mo tachi Sugu yukeru
Isolation
My head divide
I don't know Your sadness Isolation
My head divide
I don't know
Your sadness
Machi mahou no mire no mikobo
naku
Konou osesu ni ore wa Ikite yuku Isolation
My head divide
I don't know Your sadness Isolation
My head divide
I don't know Your sadness
In KELUN's song "Isolation," the lyrics convey a sense of longing and isolation. The singer is searching for someone that they have lost, pleading for them to come back. They feel as though they were born to lose their breath and slip away forever, suggesting a deep sense of hopelessness and lack of purpose. The lines "I don't know your sadness" and "my head divide" further emphasize this sense of disconnect, as though there is a division between the singer and the person they are searching for.
The setting of Asugaya is mentioned, which is a district in Tokyo known for its artistic and cultural vibe. However, even in this lively and vibrant community, the singer still feels isolated and alone. Despite their struggles, there is a sense of determination to keep moving forward, to not give up. The line "Ikitetara kie yuku" (If you live, you will disappear) suggests that the singer is aware of their own mortality and the fleeting nature of existence.
Overall, "Isolation" is a poignant exploration of the human experience, specifically the struggle to connect with others and find meaning in life.
