Yeah, you be a mess like a girl I would know
And you always think, always speak cryptically
I should know that you're no good for me
'Cause you're hot and you're cold
You're yes and you're no
You're in and you're out
You're wrong when it's right
You're black and it's white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up
You, you don't really wanna stay, no
But you, you don't really wanna go, oh
'Cause you're hot and you're cold
You're yes then you're no
You're in and you're out
You're up and you're down
We used to be just like twins, so in sync
The same energy now's a dead battery
Used to laugh 'bout nothing, now you're plain boring
I should know that you're not gonna change
'Cause you're hot and you're cold
You're yes and you're no
You're in and you're out
You're up and you're down
You're wrong when it's right
You're black and it's white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up
You, you don't really wanna stay, no
But you, you don't really wanna go, oh
You're hot and you're cold
You're yes and you're no
You're in and you're out
You're up and you're down
Someone call the doctor
Got a case of a love disorder
Stuck on a roller coaster
Can't get off this ride
You change your mind like a girl changes clothes
'Cause you're hot and you're cold
You're yes and you're no
You're in and you're out
You're up and you're down
You're wrong when it's right
You're black and it's white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up
You, you don't really wanna stay, no
But you, you don't really wanna go, oh
You're hot and you're cold
You're yes and you're no
You're in and you're out
You're up and you're down
The song "Hot n Cold" by Kidz Bop is a playful take on the fickle nature of a romantic relationship. In the song, the singer describes their partner as someone who changes their mind and behavior frequently, much like a girl changes her clothes. The partner is described as a mess, speaking cryptically, and not good for the singer, yet they are hot and cold, yes and no, up and down, and in and out, representing a lack of consistency in the relationship.
The singer reminisces about how they used to be in sync with their partner, but now they feel like they're stuck on a roller coaster ride with a love disorder. Despite their feelings of frustration and confusion, the singer still can't decide whether they want their partner to stay or go.
Overall, the song uses playful and catchy lyrics to depict the ups and downs of a tumultuous relationship. It highlights the importance of consistency and communication in a healthy relationship.
