But you're not sure enough to let me go
Baby it ain't fair you know
To just keep me hangin' 'round
You say you don't wanna hurt me
Don't want to see my tears
So why are you still standing here
And it's alright, yeah I'll be fine
Don't worry 'bout this heart of mine
Just take your love and hit the road
There's nothing you can do or say
You're gonna break my heart anyway
So just leave the pieces when you go
You can drag out the heartache
Baby you can make it quick
Really get it over with
And just let me move on
Don't concern yourself
With this mess you've left for me
I can clean it up, you see
Just as long as you're gone
And it's alright, yeah I'll be fine
Don't worry 'bout this heart of mine
Just take your love and hit the road
There's nothing you can do or say
You're gonna break my heart anyway
So just leave the pieces when you go
You not making up your mind
Is killing me and wasting time
I need so much more than that
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
And it's alright, yeah I'll be fine
Don't worry 'bout this heart of mine
Just take your love and hit the road
There's nothing you can do or say
You're gonna break my heart anyway
So just leave the pieces when you go
Leave the pieces when you go
Oh, yeah
Leave the pieces when you go
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Leave the pieces when you go
The song "Leave" by Kidz Bop features a narrator who is in a relationship with someone who's unsure of their feelings. The singer feels stuck in limbo, with their partner refusing to either commit or leave. The first verse sets the tone for the rest of the song, with the singer expressing their frustration with their partner for hanging on without any commitment. In the chorus, the singer acknowledges that they will be fine without their partner's love and encourages them to leave. The second verse builds on the first, with the singer urging their partner to end their relationship quickly instead of dragging out the heartache. In the bridge, the singer expresses their need for more than uncertainty and indecision.
The lyrics to "Leave" tap into relatable emotions that many people experience in relationships. The frustration and uncertainty that comes with someone who is unwilling or unable to commit can lead to heartbreak and a lingering sense of confusion. The song also highlights the importance of asserting boundaries and recognizing when it's time to move on from an unhealthy relationship.
