Outside

Stand still, falling away from me
When it takes so long
Fire is out, what do you want to be?
I'm holding on
Myself was never enough for me
Gotta be so strong
There's a power in what you do
Oh oh, oh oh I'll show you what it feels like
Now I'm on the outside, oh oh
We did everything right
Now I'm on the outside,
Oh I'll show you what it feels like
Now I'm on the outside
Oh we did everything right
Now I'm on the outside
So you give me no reason
For me to stay close to you tell me what others do
How are we still breathing
It's never for us to choose
I'll be the strength in you
I'm holding on
Myself was never enough for me
Gotta be so strong
There's a power in what you do
Now every other day I've been watching you, oh oh oh oh
I'll show you what it feels like
Now I'm on the outside
Oh oh, we did everything right
Now I'm on the outside
Oh oh I'll show you what it feels like
Now I'm on the outside
Oh oh we did everything right
Now I'm on the outside
I'll show you what it feels like Now I'm on the outside
I'll show you what it feels like, oh oh
Ah, ah ah, I'll show you what it feels like Now I'm on the outside
Ah, ah ah, we did everything right now I'm on the outside
The song "Outside" by KIDZ BOP Kids is about a person who feels left out and isolated from the world. The opening line "Look at what you've done, stand still falling away from me" speaks to the distance between the singer and the person they are addressing. The lines "Myself was never enough for me, gotta be so strong, there's a power in what you do" suggest that the singer feels inadequate and envious of the person they are addressing, who appears to have a sense of power and control.
The chorus, which repeats the line "Now I'm on the outside," conveys the sense of being excluded and alone. The singer is taking on a passive role, as if they have been pushed out of a community or social circle. The line "We did everything right, now I'm on the outside" suggests that the singer and the person they are addressing were once close, but now they are no longer on the same page.
The bridge section speaks to the idea of resilience and finding strength in challenging circumstances. The line "I'll be the strength in you" suggests that the singer is offering support to the person they are addressing, even though they themselves may be feeling vulnerable and weak.
Overall, the song "Outside" conveys a sense of disconnection and longing for deeper connection. The singer is grappling with feelings of inadequacy and envy towards the person they are addressing, while also reaching out for support and reassurance.
