Everything Will Be Alright
KITCHEN 1 - The Killers Lyrics

Doo-doo, doo-doo
I believe in you and me

I'm coming to find you if it takes me all night
Wrong until you make it right
And I won't forget you
At least I'll try and run, and run tonight

Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright

La, la, la, la, la, oh-ho
I wasn't shopping for a doll
To say the least, I thought I've seen them all
But then you took me by surprise
I'm dreaming 'bout those dreamy eyes
I never knew, I never knew
So take your suitcase, 'cause I don't mind
And baby doll, I meant it every time
You don't need to compromise
I'm dreaming 'bout those dreamy eyes
I never knew, I never knew but it's alright, alright

Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright

Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
Everything will be alright
It will be alright

I'm coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine
Gotta, gotta be down because I want it all
It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this?
It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss
Now I'm falling asleep and she's calling a cab
While he's having a smoke and she's taking a drag
Now they're going to bed and my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head, but she's touching his
Chest now, he takes off her dress now

Let me go
'Cause I just can't look, it's killing me
And taking control

I never had a respectful relationship my whole adult life. I was in a loveless marriage with a woman who loathed me in the end. I always sang this song it was something I could relate to. We finally split up and after a few failed relationships I reached out to the hand I never thought I would ever grab. Jesus Christ saved me from myself and the wake of brokenness around me. Between a bottle of vodka and another bad relationship I found God.

Nostalgia is a heck of a drug but salvation is a heck of a high!

God bless everyone who reads this! You were meant to see this message!

That simple sentence brought me back to kid me sitting on my bedroom floor playing with lego. My brother lent me his Walkman and CDs. I used Sony headphones as speakers. My dad knocked on my door. "Wendy, will you please play a different song?"
I had the song loud and on repeat.

@katsmeow0615
