Although only young, Kid Hudson already boasts an impressive musical career that includes national and international radio broadcasts, national television appearances, hundreds of live performances, significant social media attention and a strong and loyal fan base.
Kid’s affinity with music began early, being exposed to performing live with his older brothers on stage where he demonstrated an uncanny ability to hold a drum beat at the tender age of two. A year later he joined his brother, Dee, in forming their own duo known as The Blue Suedes who performed regularly, winning a variety of talent show competitions as well as appearing on Channel 9’s Pot of Gold. His prodigious talent continued to shine when at the age of five he began learning how to play the guitar and wrote his first few songs for family and friends.
As the years progressed, Kid continued to express himself through music, experimenting with a variety of genres including playing guitar with glam-metal outfit Renegade and back to being a stand-up drummer for punk rockers Runaway Boys with his brothers Dizzy and Dee. Runaway Boys became an instant cult hit on the punk scene and cracked the charts with their pulsating rocker Fallen Down before the band suffered the tragic loss of Dee in late 2007 to cancer. Disillusioned by the passing of his brother, Kid withdrew himself from music for two years. Ironically, however, it would be music that would ultimately re-ignite Kid and provide him with the medium to express his hopes, fears and Dreams.
Dreams of Leaving represented a new chapter in Kid’s musical life. As the frontman he was focused, driven and dynamic on stage. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious and a legion of new diehard fans quickly emerged. Behind the scenes he was active in writing, performing and producing the band’s material, often working around the clock in the studio until he was satisfied with the finished track. The band released their Everytime EP with instant local success, touring nationally and generating plenty of interest in the band’s hijinks through their documented Everytime-a-sodes posted regularly on YouTube. Kid recognised early on the importance and benefits of utilising social media like Facebook in connecting with fans with a highlight trending three times in one night on Twitter: Dreams of Leaving. After a whirlwind two years, Dreams of Leaving made a mutual agreement to part ways disbanding in mid-2011.
Not one to view this as a setback, Kid worked tirelessly back in the studio and released his debut solo single Told You So Ft. Marcus on July 15th 2011. The track skyrocketed in sales on iTunes selling over 3,000 copies in just 48 hours. The single was picked up by Byron Cooke and Australia's hit music stations such as Fox FM (Melbourne), 2 Day FM (Sydney), B105 FM (Brisbane), 929 FM (Perth), SA FM (Adelaide) and NX FM (Newcastle). Requested to the peak, Hot 30 Countdown couldn't resist playing the track also.
Kid Hudson is a unique and talented young individual. His music connects with his generation and his professionalism is only matched by the generosity he shows his fans. Kid Hudson is an international star of the future. Make sure you’re there when it happens.

KId Hudson Lyrics

Would you find a way to tell me how you feel?
Maybe you'll never know about the times I tried to help you
I didn't want you to go
Oh baby don't go
Everybody scream
How could you do this to me?
Everybody knows
That you were perfect for me
I can't help falling for you
What if it's not my time
To put a smile on your face?
I used to be the only one
And baby you'll never see
That there's another side of me
I'm only gonna break your heart
But I'll never leave you
Everybody scream
How could you do this to me?
I said, you cried
I ran
Everybody knows
That you were perfect for me
I can't help falling for you
The lyrics to Kid Hudson's "Clouded" seem to be about a person who is struggling to let go of someone they care about deeply. The singer is asking the person they care about if they would be able to tell them how they feel, even if that person can't let go. The singer admits to having tried to help this person before, but now they don't want them to go. They are begging the person not to leave them.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Everybody scream, how could you do this to me?" It seems as though the person the singer is addressing has hurt them in some way, but the singer is still in love with them. They say, "Everybody knows that you were perfect for me," indicating that they believe the two of them are meant to be together.
The bridge of the song starts off with the singer questioning whether or not it's the right time for them to make the other person happy. They say that they used to be the only one who could make the person smile, but they now realize that there's another side of them that they can't control. The singer seems to be aware that they are going to hurt the other person, despite their attempts to keep them close.
Overall, this song seems to be about the struggle of holding onto someone that you can't let go of, despite knowing that you'll only cause pain in the end. The singer is trying to hold onto the other person, who they believe is perfect for them, but they are aware that they will eventually break their heart.
