Knotlamp was formed in Fukuoka in the 2000.Was a four-man team and the search for a Vocal began (KEIT was the secondary guitar at the time) and in April 2002 bored of not able to find a vocalist, KEIT becames the main guitar and vocal at the same time. In October of the same year they released the first single called "Mental Age" And in July of the next year they released the next and second single called "NEVER CHANGE" so with this they got more fans and was the beginning of the tours around the country promoting their music. They continued touring and releasing singles and in January 2007 the first mini album (Blind side) comes and that with the new website in the internet it gave more power to the band. And all of that involves in a great change of the band, they look into another direction and some members left and new members arrived and to mark this change they take a new logo kept until today and the meaning of start again so the next single wiould be the real first single. But that wasn't enough because soon after that the fame comes with their first song for an anime, that was Last Train in a Yu-Gi-Oh sequel and to gives still more force to the band later they released the second mini album (Ghost of the Freedom) in June 2008 with the new famous song into it and later the own single for Last Train that was the real first single of the new Knotlamp. Time passes and finally after all the tourings and the recognition the band proved that they want to keep growing in musical terms. So in March 2009 the band released the long-awaited First Full Album called "Sing Against the Stream" that is really a masterpiece in the genre and the demonstration that they improved theirself better than ever! and will continue the grow in the future.
