_Tiểu sử
KOP được sáng lập ngày 6/6/2010 bởi K-Hau (ex – vocalist Prophecy, Sương Mù) và guitar Triệu Hoàng Anh Tuấn. Đây cũng là dự án được 2 người ấp ủ khi cùng góp mặt trong đội hình Prophecy ,2 người bắt tay vào sáng tác những ca khúc và âm thầm thực hiện dự án riêng , đó là một ban nhạc chung của cả 2. Sau khi KOP được hình thành cùng cùng các ca khúc mới được sáng tác, các thành viên khác lần lượt góp mặt trong đội hình là drums Mạnh Cương, bassist Đức Tâm và guitarist Gia Huy.
K-Hau được biết đến khi hoạt động cùng Prophecy và đã cũng band nhạc này phát hành album đầu tay Đôi Cánh Vô Hình năm 2008, là một trong những vocalist tiếng tăm của khu vực phia Nam. Ngay sau khi tách khỏi đội hình Prophecy và lập lên KOP band hiện nay được K-Hau ấp ủ từ rất lâu, K-Hau từng tham gia cùng Prophecy và symphonic metal band Sương Mù của xứ sở ngàn hoa Đà Lạt và biểu diễn trên các sân khấu Rockstorm 2009 ; 2010 diễn ra tại Đà Lạt, Cần Thơ và đặc biệt là TP. Hồ Chí Minh. Ngày 13/8/2010 là thời điểm đánh dấu sự xuất hiện của KOP band trên sân khấu rock qua liveshow Black Friday kỷ niệm 11 năm của RFC (Rockpassion.vn)
Năm 2011 lần đầu tiên KOP xuất hiện tại Rock Storm 2011 với tư cách là ban nhạc mở màn cho các đêm diễn tại Biên Hoà, TP.HCM và Cần Thơ. Cuối năm 2012 ban nhạc tiếp tục tham gia Rock Storm và là ban nhạc duy nhất đi suốt chặng đường từ Bắc vào Nam.
Mô tả
“Âm nhạc của KOP không chỉ đơn thuần là alternative mà theo thể loại tự do, phóng khoáng hơn và được kết hợp từ nhiều chất liệu âm nhạc khác nhau để cho ra được những sản phẩm âm nhạc vừa ý nhất hướng đến sự phổ biến của nhạc rock ngày nay. “Nói Hard Rock cũng đúng, là Alternative Metal cũng chẳng sai, lẩn quẩn đâu đó Post-grunge cũng được … Nó có thể căng như ná bắn chim, hoặc nhẹ như miếng bông gòn.” – đó là định nghĩa âm nhạc của KOP band.
