Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako

At ako ngayon ay kailangan nang mamili
Isa lang ang maaari
Alam mong narito ako
Lagi para sa iyo
Mahal kita ng labis
Ngunit iba ang iyong nais
At siya’y narito
Nalilito
Litong litong lito
Sino ang iibigin ko
Ikaw ba na pangarap ko
O siya bang kumakatok sa puso ko
Oh anong paiiralin ko
Isip ba o ang puso ko
Nalilito litong litong lito
Sinong pipiliin ko
Mahal ko o mahal ako
Kahit di ako ang mahal mo
Kung mananatili ako sa yo
Ay baka matutunan mo rin
Na ako’y iyong ibigin
At kung sadyang siya’y tapat
Baka sakaling pagdaan ng araw
Matutunan ko rin ang ibigin siya
Sino ang iibigin ko
Ikaw ba na pangarap ko
O siya bang kumakatok sa puso ko
Oh anong paiiralin ko
Isip ba o ang puso ko
Nalilito litong litong lito
Sinong pipiliin ko
Ang nais ko ay maranasan
Ang umibig at masuklian din ng pag-ibig
Sino ang iibigin ko
Ikaw ba na pangarap ko
O siya ba
Oh anong paiiralin ko
Isip ba o ang puso ko
Nalilito litong litong lito
Litong litong lito
Sinong pipiliin ko
Mahal ko o mahal ako
The song "Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako" by KZ Tandingan is a beautiful rendition of a heartbreaking and relatable love story. The lyrics, which translate to "Do I love you or do I love myself?" describe the internal struggle of having to choose between two important people in one's life. The singer is in love with two people, and is torn between them. She wants to be with both of them, but she knows she needs to choose one.
The song begins with the singer acknowledging that there are two people in her life, and she needs to choose one of them. She loves one of them deeply, but the other person has captured her heart in a different way. She is confused and doesn't know which one to choose. The chorus repeats this feeling of being confused and torn, trying to decide whether to listen to her heart or her mind.
The song's bridge talks about the possibility of being with the person she doesn't love as deeply, and hoping that by staying with them, she will eventually fall in love with them too. The song ends with the singer expressing her desire to experience what it's like to love and be loved in return.
Overall, the lyrics of "Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako" are a beautiful portrayal of the complex emotions involved in choosing between love and personal desires.

Great voice, great lyrics. About the lyrics. From my observations, both choices either end in disaster, or a mediocre life. Because one partner’s heart’s not really in it.
Why choose somebody you love but doesn’t love you? It’s unfair to yourself.
Why choose somebody you don’t love but loves you? It’s unfair to the other person.
Of all the eight billion people in this world. It’s not even the wait.
Leave your comfort zone. Get out more. Be decent, and circulate amongst decent people. You’ll be fine.

Filipino songs evokes emotion just by the sound of the language itself, and I think that's the most pleasing feature about their music (aside from the amazing vocal gymnastics).
