In his childhood years, he didn't listen to music like regular people to such divergent influences like Whitesnake and Earth, Wind & Fire, he began playing piano and drums at an early age. Upon moving to Stockholm, he was dropped out of school and retreated into his studio to adopt a hermit’s lifestyle for nearly a year and a half, producing 24/7 and sharing his musical output with no one.
What emerged was a demo that caught the attention of Kaaze’s idol Tiësto and changed everything for him in the span of a season. The two met for the first time in Stockholm two weeks later, and Kaaze accompanied the Dutch superstar to his gig at Summerburst Festival. The Swedish producer began sending daily demos to his newfound musical mentor, solidifying a melodic progressive sound that draws upon his 80s disco and glam rock roots. Following a summer full of musical exchange, Kaaze received the formal offer to sign with Tiësto’s Red Light Management group and embarked on an eye-opening tour of New York and Tiësto’s Hakkasan residency in Las Vegas.

Is it criminal to steal your heart before it dies?
Tell me, is it stealing if I′m giving you back mine?
If you think that it's a felony then go ahead and arrest me
If you think that it′s a felony then go ahead and arrest me
Is it arson if I light the fire in your eyes?
Tell me, is it stealing if I'm giving you back mine?
If you think that it's a felony then go ahead and arrest me
Is it arson if I light the fire in your eyes?
Is it criminal to steal your heart before it dies?
Tell me, is it stealing if I′m giving you back mine?
If you think that it′s a felony then go ahead and arrest me
If you think that it's a felony then go ahead and arrest me
If you think that it′s a felony then go ahead and arrest me
Is it stealing if I'm giving you back mine?
If you think that it′s a felony then go ahead and arrest me
The lyrics of Kaaze's song "Arrest Me" convey a sense of rebelliousness and passion as the artist speaks to a potential lover. He questions whether his actions of igniting a fire within their eyes or passionately stealing their heart before it dies, are considered criminal or stealing. He poses these questions with a confident tone and a hint of defiance, as he is unafraid of facing the consequences of his actions. In fact, he invites the listener to go ahead and arrest him if they believe what he is doing is truly a felony.
The repetition of the lines "Is it arson if I light the fire in your eyes?" and "Is it criminal to steal your heart before it dies?" creates a sense of urgency and intensity, emphasizing the artist's desire and passion for this person. He wants to make it clear that he is willing to take risks and break the rules to be with them, even if it means facing punishment. By asking "is it stealing if I'm giving you back mine?" he is suggesting that he is willing to give all of himself to this person, and therefore his actions should not be considered wrong.
Overall, "Arrest Me" is a bold and confident statement of love, emphasizing the artist's willingness to take risks and defy societal norms in order to be with the one he desires.
