At this point, a proper band line-up was assembled, leading to the act's first proper concert (September 2nd 2001). Eventually, Kabanos decided to try their hand at making their own material, and the debut single "Za X" was recorded in 2002. A few member changes later, a proper full-length "Zęby w ścianę" saw the light of day in 2007. "Flaki z olejem" followed in 2009, and the group's most recent full-length of original material is "Kiełbie we łbie" from 2012. Kabanos is evolving from release to release, letting their growing musical abilities shine and gradually replacing the off-the-wall ramblings of their earlier materials with easily discernible, more mature themes.
Snob

Ci, co znają się na muzyce, nie cierpią klaskania
Ci, co znają się na muzyce, nie znoszą melodii
Ci, co znają się na metalu, nie lubią wieśniactwa
Snob Snob Snob
Oświecony w gustach
Ona ma te właściwe
Kiepska muzyka
Żenujące słowa
Melodia za prosta
Boli go to, boli, boli
Niech się swoją żółcią dławi, niech ta żółć go trawi
Musisz nauczyć się wrzucać na luz
Musisz czasem wrzucić sobie na luz
Dramat wielki i współczesny, ale luz
Fajnie, że znasz się na wszystkim, ale trzeba wrzucić luz
The lyrics of Kabanos's song "Snob" are a commentary on the elitism and snobbishness prevalent in certain subcultures. The lyrics point out how those who profess to have knowledge of music, food, culture, or any other subject, tend to look down on those who have different tastes or preferences. The song highlights how such snobbery often borders on pretentiousness, as those who consider themselves experts in their respective fields refuse to appreciate anything that does not meet their narrow criteria. The constant repetition of the word "snob" throughout the song serves as a condemnation of this kind of behavior.
The first verse of the song deals with the music industry, and how those who are self-proclaimed experts in music do not like popular music, do not like clapping, and cannot stand simple melodies. The chorus of the song emphasizes the snobbishness of the person being referred to as a snob, who is enlightened in tastes and is dismissive of anything that is not up to their standards. The second verse focuses on food preferences, like those who don't like kebabs or dislike certain traditional dishes like bigos. The verse also highlights the snobbery in the world of cinema, where those who are into dramas have a dismissive attitude towards comedies. The bridge at the end advises the listener to lighten up and to not take things too seriously.
Overall, "Snob" is a satire that highlights the negativity of snobbery and elitism, urging listeners to keep an open mind and to embrace diversity.
