I recently listened to the audiobook version of "The Other Woman" by Sandie Jones and I was completely engrossed from start to finish. The dramatization of the story was beautifully done, keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout all 45 chapters. The narrator's performance truly brought the characters and plot to life, making it an unforgettable listening experience. If you're a fan of intense and captivating storytelling, I highly recommend giving this audiobook a listen!

I read the comments before I read and almost did not listen to. If you can suspend your judgement and allow this is fiction, that you would probably not/never do what the main character did (I would have run a mile from first red flag), then it is an ok and absorbing listen. I could not predict the ending and the sheer unusual behaviours of all the characters made me stay till the end, where the author added a nice twist plot. A pretty fine narration too.

I enjoyed this story. I absolutely started wondering why Emily didn't cut and run very early in the story...Adam started showing his true colors before we even meet Pammy. So I had the same reaction that a lot of posters had - ie "why is Emily so stupid." But then I took a beat and remembered how real abused women act. I'm about 13 years clear of my own abusive relationship, and I remember how frustrated people were with me at how long it took me to leave; and how much it hurt when I felt like they blamed me for staying. Now, I know how frustrated I feel when I see an abused woman stay in a bad situation. Abused women have all kinds of reasons for staying - gaslighting, a misguided belief that nobody will ever love them like that again, a belief that good women are loyal - omg sooooo many stupid reasons that just don't feel stupid at the time. So basically what I'm saying is, I bought Emily's utterly stupid decision to stay.

This book is ok… but for me all I kept thinking was this would have been over if they had a cell phone…. Recording each other and no more lying… I then thought what a dumb protagonist… she thinks she is competing with a psycho…. And could trump her with a baby… doesn’t take her birth control and is shocked to find out she is pregnant and confused about what to do… who would want to attach their child to the psycho and his little momma’s boy… to win some game… the protagonist is responsible for everything that happened… she is allowing all of that shit into her life… insecure ego driven using a child is gross

Enjoyed the ending - like the twist. A bit long winded from the start to where it gets interesting so skipped some detail. We know this is fiction but Emily in the real world would have acted on her feelings and left way back.

Not at all far fetched, it happens worse than that too. I won't go into the story, but I beaten and strangled by my expartner, and not breathing for about 2 ½minutes, with him refusing to let the paramedics in until he saw I wasn't breathing. I sustained some brain damage as a result.

The start of this book was used in another video, I nearly stopped listening but I was enjoying it, and as the story progressed l realised it was a totally different story. Glad I listened long enough to find out.

This book had such a good plot. I liked the characters and admired the narrators ability to change their voice. But the ending was all over the place. Finding out the reason why " the other woman " was intentionally cruel didn't make any sense, even though they admitted why they did it. I just expected a better ending. Not one that left me confused and wondering.

Adam is such a mommy's boy and I hate it so much. Pammy is such a manipulating woman. I've wanted to DNF the book so many times but I had the strength to push through

Ok so I have to be honest, this book is quite bad it's tourture the entire way through until the last 10min and the ending doesn't even justify much it's a bad ending as you hated Pammy so much there is no way she would have done what she done to do that , this book actually made me feel sick with the verbal abuse and the ending did not justify it.
