That man can sing about a damn crawfish and it sounds awesome. No one in this world can do that.

Anyone could but who would want to.

Elvis could sing about lemonade and make it sound cool

Mate, this is a fine opening and personally I like this song. In fact King Creole was his best effort in terms of acting. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. But that being said let's keep this 100 percent. Anyone else with a good voice and more soul could have done this song. Even better. Presley was not the only vocalist out there. There are far too many vocalists out there who had more range, voice control and the ability to sing with passion. Elvis basically sung in the same range in most of his ballads with some minor upticks in range and he could not hold the long notes as well as several of his peers. Jackie Wilson was a master vocalist who could switch range fluidly and hold control effortlessly while hitting high notes in transition. Elvis by comparison tended to sound ragged on the tail end of the long notes. He was more comfortable staying within the mid range which suited his baritone well.
Nice song, cool duet with a catchy sound but nothing extraordinary where it can be said someone else could not sing this tune.

Close second diffrent era ...Eminem

His hilarity on stage, and just a pure animal magnetism and the timing.. he was singularly beautiful and uniquely talented. It's not just his voice. People love to love Elvis. Buy it his voice is easy on the ears, no doubt. Obvious, it's tough when Freddie Mercury gave us greatness. But Elvis is... Idk.. in the top three, in the most REAL 20th century most completely iconic ways.
@sisiam3268
Without doubt Elvis's best film. I think this is what he was expecting rather than the bilge the 'Colonel' inflicted on him.
@bradhuskers
There's nobody past or present who can hold a candle to this iconic artist.
Nobody

well put and totally agreed.

Dont be silly. Little Richard was better. Elvis was just the right face in the right place at the right time.
