I'm woven in a fantasy, I can't believe the things I see
I am lost in a world of imagination, struggling to comprehend the sights that I come across.

The path that I have chosen now has led me to a wall

The wall disgusts me, it is monumental and only serves to limit my potential.

To pass beyond is what I seek, I fear that I may be too weak
I crave to overcome this barrier, however, I worry that I may not possess the strength to do so.

And those are few who've seen it through to glimpse the other side
Only a select few have mustered the courage to triumph against this obstacle and to see what lies beyond.

The promised land is waiting like a maiden that is soon to be a bride
The other side of the wall is akin to a beautiful bride, alluring and patiently waiting for me to arrive.

The moment is a masterpiece, the weight of indecision's in the air
This moment is significant and will be remembered always, yet the uncertainty of making a choice looms heavily on me.

It's standing there, the symbol and the sum of all that's me
It stands, representing and encapsulating all that I am and could ever be.

It's just a travesty, towering, blocking out the light and blinding me
The wall is a monstrous calamity, it obstructs everything in my path and causes blindness and confusion.

Gold and diamonds cast a spell, it's not for me to know it well
The lure of material possessions holds a powerful sway over many, yet I do not yet understand the gravity of such things.

The treasures that I seek are waiting on the other side
The true finds and valuables that I search for lay hidden beyond this wall.

There's more that I can measure in the treasure of the love that I can find
Deep affections and emotions cannot be quantifiably measured, yet they can be found in abundance beyond the wall.

And though it's always been with me
Despite it being a constant presence in my life,

I must tear down the wall let it be
I am compelled to knock down this wall and to be on my way.

All I am, and all that I was ever meant to be, in harmony
Once free from this obstacle, I will be unified and complete in my existence.

Shining true and smiling back at all who wait to cross
As I traverse the wall, shining and happy, I will be greeted by those who have followed my journey.

There is no loss
There is nothing to lose and only everything to gain by overcoming this obstruction.
