Jail
Kanye West Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Take what you want
Take everything
Take what you want
Take what you want

Better that I change my number so you can't explain
Violence in the night, violence in the night
Priors, priors, do you have any priors?
Well, that one time, I'll be honest
I'll be honest, we all liars
Let it go

I'll be honest, we all liars
I'll be honest, we all liars
I'm pulled over and I got priors
Guess we goin' down, guess who's goin' to jail?

Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
God gon' post my bail tonight

Don't you curse at me on text, why you try to hit the flex?
I hold up, like, "What?" I scroll, I scroll up like, "Next"
Guess who's gettin' exed? Like, next
Guess who's gettin' exed?
You made a choice, that's your bad
Single life ain't so bad, but we ain't finna go there
Something's off, I'll tell you why
Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
What a grand plan to sell you out
I could scream and shout, let it out

I'll be honest, we all liars
I'll be honest, we all liars
I'm pulled over and I got priors
Guess we goin' down, guess who's goin' to jail?

Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
God gon' post my bail tonight

God in my cells, that's my celly
Made in the image of God, that's a selfie
Pray five times a day, so many felonies
Who gon' post my bail? Lord, help me
Hol' up, Donda, I'm with your baby when I touch back road
Told him, "Stop all of that red cap, we goin' home"
Not me with all of these sins, casting stones
This might be the return of The Throne, Throne
Hova and Yeezus, like Moses and Jesus
You are not in control of my thesis
You already know what I think 'bout thinkpieces
'Fore you ask, he already told you who he think he is
Don't try to jail my thoughts and think precincts
I can't be controlled with program and presets
Reset
On my cell, in my cell tonight
Don't have to see you to touch you
This is what braille look like, it's on sight, huh, huh, huh
If they take me to jail, call my girl, tell her send my mail
We know what Hell look like, still, it's a hell of a life, yikes

Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
Guess who's goin' to jail tonight?
God gon' post my bail tonight

Heavenly Father sent his only son, our only Saviour Jesus Christ, so that we might be reconciled with Father, for he is goodness, mercy, love and does not wish any to be lost.
The Eternal Father placed in Mary his spirit, so that Mary would be a virgin, at the birth of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ made of flesh (temple of God) and spirit (spirit of Father), to proclaim the Word of God, to do miracles, and to give his life in sacrifice (his pulpit pierced and tormented), yet his spirit still alive, so Jesus did not die but rose again), he conquered sin and death.
Jesus Christ having lived a spotless life, thanks to the Father's spirit and his work of sanctification, without any sins and yet decreed as the worst by those who judged him and put him to death at the cross of Golgotha.
In spite of his perfect, spotless life, he accepted Heavenly Father's purpose in remaining in the Presence, the Righteousness, the Wisdom, the Truth of Father's Word.
Father in all his love for us gave his Beloved Son as a sacrifice, not forgetting the mockery, the physical and verbal abuse, the slander that Jesus Christ suffered for us.
Heavenly Father with the fulfillment of his son's sacrifice is an opportunity to turn to him, body and soul, mind and spirit, and to believe in him, to have FAITH, to be Obedient, Faithful, to have Trust, in spite of the trials of life.
As long as God leaves us the breath of life, let us take advantage of asking God for His Presence and reading His Word, praying for our brothers and sisters, sinners, children, your family, poor, rich, religious people of various horizons.
God is "slow in coming" because He does not want any of us to be lost, God has compassion on us.
Ask God the Father and his son, for his Victory is already established before the creation of the earth and the Victory over death is since the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, his blood shed so that we can obtain the Eternal Life in Truth and Wisdom, Justice and Love ETERNAL.
All this is real and eternal.
Jesus Christ came for sinners; let us not be ashamed to proclaim our sins, let us have the love and honesty to be with God and try to change.
Loving God also starts with listening to Him and building a RELATIONSHIP with God and doing His Will.
Reading the Bible, praising, worshipping and praying night and day creates a UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP with God and this God is so fond of, that we are sanctified and remain in His Faithfulness and Obedience, with Faith.
Many believe in a God, yet they remain on family traditions, ancestral cultures, without knowing the True God.
