This track is an updated version of the scrapped Yandhi track, “Law of Attraction.” While the two share many similarities, noticeable differences include a different chorus and vocals from the aforementioned rap duo. It also removes the original vocals from Ant Clemons, a then rising artist who was heavily involved in the creation of the original Yandhi.
This track marks the first joint effort between No Malice and Pusha T since No Malice’s August 2013 track “Shame the Devil.”

Oh, oh, oh, oh oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh oh, oh, oh
Use this gospel for protection
It's a hard road to Heaven
We call on your blessings
King of the kingdom
Our demons are tremblin'
Holy angels defendin'
In the Father, we put our faith
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh oh, oh, oh
How could He not be the greatest?
In my bed, under covers when under covers had raided
My presence is happy belated
Fashionably late, I'm just glad that you made it
The best is yet to come, I'm just glad that you waited
They all say they real 'til it's time to appraise it
I seen them come and go, you only the latest
But who am I to judge? I'm crooked as Vegas
Use this gospel for protection
It's a hard road to Heaven
We call on your blessings
In the Father, we put our faith
King of the kingdom
Our demons are tremblin'
Holy angels defendin'
In the Father, we put our faith
A lot of damaged souls, I done damaged those
And in my arrogance, took a camera pose
Caught with a trunk of Barry Manilows
They sing a different tune when the slammer close
From the concrete grew a rose
They give you Wraith talk, I give you faith talk
Blindfolded on this road, watch me faith walk
Just hold on to your brother when his faith lost
Oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
Oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
Oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
Oh oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
Oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
Oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
Oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
Oh oh, oh, oh (work, work, work, work)
In the song "Use this Gospel" by Kanye West, he starts with an invitation to use the gospel as a form of protection during the tough times we go through in life. He acknowledges that the road to heaven is a difficult one, but we must call on God's blessings and put our faith in him to conquer our demons. Kanye affirms that God is the King of the kingdom and that holy angels will protect and defend us.
In the second verse, Kanye recognizes his imperfections and boasts of his wealth, but he is humble enough to wait for his time, knowing that the best is yet to come. He acknowledges that most people tend to show their true selves only when they are under appraisal or in difficult situations. Kanye has seen many people come and go, but he recognizes he is not the judge of them, and he has his own faults.
In the final verse, Kanye talks about damaged souls and how he has damaged others. However, he has seen himself grow, just like a rose growing from the concrete, and he emphasizes that he gives his fans faith talk instead of Wraith talk. He walks through the road of faith blindly, but he believes that holding onto our brothers when they lose faith is essential.
In summary, Kanye encourages the use of the gospel as a protection mechanism and acknowledges the difficulty of the road to heaven. He praises God as the King of the kingdom and trusts the protection of holy angels. He also admits his faults and advises us to hold onto our brothers when their faith is lost.
