This is an interesting pairing, because, quite often whenever I perform Romance in public, people often think it's the theme from the Deer Hunter. Lovely renditions of both pieces btw, though I must say I would prefer it if the orchestra were not playing in the first piece.

Yes. Well done! I played the John Williams version (from the album, "Changes") for my wife-to--be on our first date in 1973. She's still with me. Ana Vidovic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSECkRnpsDE does a great job too. A "simple song" in Italian, it illustrates how, through their absence here, "flourishes" in any art form can obscure rather than illuminate. Here, the orchestra does a decent job of being complimentary, but it does get in the way of the purity of the composition and its execution by the pure instrument and the sole musician.

At 15 she was the japanees prodige, her carreer began.
At 18 she was 2 year in France to learn anymore from eurpean masters.
On this video she is about 33. She played everything, everywhere in Europe and Asia.
One of the most talented classic guitarist of the planet and so beautifull .
At 35 , she had to say the truth and stop her carreer. She had a tongue cancer. In fact, her health was not very good since few years.
She is 39 years old now and play sometimes in japan.
... A simple wooman.

I am not artist at all. But I know something, to make cry a stone like she can. It is learn-work, learn-work and learn-work. It is not easy at all, it is a choice she did and was helped to do so sometimes when dought.
In about 1965, a strong mathematician (Grotendieck) said to other mathematician, "We must stop to work, because in fact our job is just buiding armed to kill people".
An artist like Kaori Muraji doesn't have this problem. She can only make peace sometimes.
Any champion has this problem in fact "What I am doing ?". But when you like what you do, you can give a little result for anyone.
So , make choice and learn- work, learn-work... You can give a little stone to the world, like this simple wooman (or any man).
Please don't answer or just a simple words.

What a wooman ! I am not a guitar specialist but for me. She always try to have the simplyest sound , never making too much as many guitarists which wants to be over the music when they play to show them.
Kaori Muraji gives a simple caress. A little like if she said "I am a little japaneese guitarist and I will play this little music.".
She is so beautifull and plays with very much grace.
Sad to know she had to stop her international carreer to save her life.
Perhaps the best wooman guitarist (I think so too) and for sure an extraordinary wooman.
