The lyrics of Karkaos's song "Lie for a Lie" describe the disappointment and disillusionment of a soldier who has given everything for a cause, only to realize that he has been deceived and betrayed. The first stanza refers to the sacrifice of many soldiers in a conflict that seems to have no end, and the frustration that comes from the realization that their efforts have not brought them any closer to victory. Despite their perseverance and bravery, they are still facing defeat.
The chorus reflects the soldier's feelings of hopelessness and despair, as he realizes that he has been given false promises and has been used for some ulterior motive. The line "they told me I would go, but after all I've never been and never will be" suggests that he was promised something that was never meant to be fulfilled. @Metalwrestling i want to say that we must give the chance to new stuff and who knows... we may find a cool song even if it considers female vocals. Besides the specific song contains harsh female vocals which in my opinion is something that deserves a little more attention!
