He's amazing. I've been into electronic music for many years, but somehow never listened to Bodzin until this year. I didn't know what I was missing out on. What is most unique to me is that he actually plays his hardware synths live and uses his controller in his live shows. Most electronic music acts will just go on stage with a mixer and a couple decks and play and mix their own tracks, or worse, play other people's music and call it a show.

@1ofthewizards You are right about Stephan, but trust me! If you spend enough time looking for great DJ's, you will have some amazing experiences as well. I'm an electronic music producer as well, play the guitar, sing sometimes. It is a huge amount of work and knowledge, what is necessary to write interesting electronic music. Stephan performs his songs in a context of a live act, which means that he is able to modify his pre-produced songs on the fly, so it is more expressive. Some people prefer to play their own songs on cdjs, and mix them with others people art. But the reason is much more positive than you imagine. They play other peoples music because they want to support those artist who's music they enjoy, respect and found valuable to share.

Easily my favorite Cercle set. I've hope to visit Switzerland someday and this makes me want to go even more! Stephan has a great musical style, great vibes without being too repetitive and his music has more energy than most other Cercle artists I've seen.

I always wonder if he planned for the epic moment of the sunset where he plays the most emotional part of the set, at 1:13:33. He was particularly inspired here, the solo is out of this world.
