Fast Fuse was also featured in FIFA 09, due to the early-released EP, which came out before the album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.
It also featured as the theme song for the World Wrestling Entertainment pay per view Cyber Sunday 2007.
The song can also be heard in a Richard Hammond's Blast Lab advert.
The song is also the title track for the show Russell Howard's Good News
Vocalist Tom Meighan told The Sun that the band see "Fast Fuse" as their very own Quentin Tarantino soundtrack with its Kraut-rock bass and furious vocals. He said: "It's a Tarantino take on the 21st Century. There are a lot of angry men out there and Serge's lyrics show what they're saying." [1]
Fast Fuse is also the menu music in International Cricket 2010 by Codemasters.

With a fast fuse
I've got no time to love
Just a city to abuse
Oh baby I was born
With a fast fuse
I've got no time to love
Come get me
Wicked fines won't arrest me
I'm like Lucifer's child
Wild, acid done
Black sunglasses shade the morning sun
Come get me
All you fuckers can't touch me
I'm a hooligan crier, sire
Sit, don't scatter
It don't matter
Gimme one two three
Gold lightning in the skyline
Gold lightning in the sky
Oh baby I was born
With a fast fuse
I've got no time to lose
Just a city to abuse
Oh baby I was born
With a fast fuse
I've got no time to lose
Just a city to abuse
Vultures settle round
They wait above the ground
Oh
How dare you!
Not it's time to address you
I'm the reason you claim
Shame, stalk my name
See my fist chopping off your reign
It's getting hotter
Now I'm spitting out lava
Well I'm just putting it into words
Just genuine stock
Hear that bomb going tick tick tock
Gold lightning in the skyline
Gold lightning in the sky
Gold lightning in the skyline
Gold lightning in the sky
Oh baby I was born
With a fast fuse
I've got not time to lose
Just a city to abuse
In the middle of the night
When they come for you
Where you gonna be?
What you gonna do?
Heaven may come
And heaven may call
But I won't be there
(Hey hey!)
Heaven may come
And heaven may call
But I won't be there
(Hey hey!)
Heaven may come
And heaven may call
But I won't be there
(Hey hey!)
Heaven may come
And heaven may call
But I won't be there
(Hey hey!)
"Fast Fuse" by Kasabian is a song about a rebellious, wild protagonist, who was "born with a fast fuse," and "has no time for love, just a city to abuse." He flaunts his law-breaking, devil-may-care attitude, relishing in his ability to evade law enforcement with his quick thinking and sly maneuvers. He likens himself to "Lucifer's child," proud of his darkness and recklessness, and encourages others to try and catch him, declaring that "all you fuckers can't touch me." The song also features a chorus of "Gold lightning in the skyline," which may be interpreted as a metaphor for his explosive, electric personality.
As the song progresses, the singer becomes more confrontational, mocking and challenging those who would try to bring him down. He asserts that he is "the reason you claim shame," and that he will always fight against those who try to control him. The song ends with a repeated refrain of "Heaven may come and heaven may call, but I won't be there," a final declaration of his dedication to his rebellious lifestyle, whatever the consequences.
