Don't Look Back It's Probably Hypochondriac Jack Having A Heart Attack
Kashmir Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I won't ever walk again, never talk again.
I found a friend in a medicine magazine that I had seen.
I keep my friend in a glass far away from the mass, and I'm kinda keen on my mean man medicine.
Now I will be sitting here all alone and on my own, me, myself and I on my hurting broken bones.
Stones in my head and in my back, feels as if I'm gonna have a heart attack Oh what a drag,
I'm probably going to die I cannot open my eyes anymore, think it's because that I'm sick and feel ill,
so I believe my doctorman saying: "Take pills and get skills.
Take pills and get skills.
Get thrilled or get killed."

Now it's time for me to sing out my pains for everyone.
Trust me when I'm crying, 'cause I'm dying.
All the friends that I once had, have left me for a life so sad.
I quit to eat both weat and meat, I hardly use my toilet seat.
I've lost my sense of humour, must have been eaten by that tumor in my toe.

Now it's time for me to sing out my pains for everyone.
Trust me when I'm crying, 'cause I'm dying.

Overall Meaning

The song "Don't Look Back It's Probably Hypochondriac Jack Having A Heart Attack" by Kashmir explores the theme of paranoia and hypochondria. The singer is shown to be isolated from their friends and family who have become distant due to their constant overthinking and complaining. The song culminates in the singer crying out for help, as they believe they are dying.

The line "I found a friend in a medicine magazine" suggests that the singer is reliant on self-diagnosing through sources like the internet or relying on medication without proper medical consultation. The lyrics also highlight the singer's isolation and paranoia, as they believe they are on their own with their illness. The phrase "Take pills and get skills" implies that the singer believes that taking drugs will make them feel better and be more productive.

Vildt fed sang! Og i øvrigt er der meget bedre lyd på denne version end på den anden version, jeg lige umiddelbart kan finde her på YouTube. Så mange tak for denne upload :-)

@Zipped90 I think the change is also because of the times, this kind of music was more the type of music that was being made, I mean for grunge bands, and they've evolved , but I don't think for money, just found a sound that they are comfortable but still have the esence of kashmir.

@stratloc mener 100 % det her er filmet da de deltog i DM i Rock i 94 sammen med dizzy. dizzy kom på en 1. plads, og kashmir kom på en anden
