Overall Meaning

The song "My Funny Valentine" is a classic piece that has been performed by various artists, including Katharine McPhee. The lyrics of the song give us an insight into a romantic moment shared between a couple. The first two lines of the song “Don't change a hair for me, Not if you care for me” suggest that the singer wants their lover to remain the way they are because any change might break the spell of love. The next line “Stay little valentine, stay” implies that the singer is under the spell of love and wishes for their lover to stay with them forever.

The song then goes on to describe the lover's best features, such as their smile, laugh, and even their voice, and how these make the singer’s heart skip a beat. The song uses metaphorical language to convey the depth of emotion felt by the singer. The line “Each day is Valentine's Day” means that each day spent with the lover feels like a special day, filled with love and affection.

Overall, "My Funny Valentine" is a romantic song that captures the beauty and intensity of love. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a couple deeply in love, and the powerful emotions generated by such love.

Well u can't dance to this on tik tok and u can't shoot ppl up in Chicago amd u can't chant MAGA to this. So sadly, insert T Swizzle, Kendrick Lamar or Kenny Chesney. It's never been about the music, the talent or anything. If it was, we would have no idea about thr likes of Elvis, the Stones, Lou Reed, Poison, Drake, Ashlee Simpson and Frank Sinatra. Those are just Kool, or lucky, or connected ppl or in the right place or time that were marketable or had a message that could resonate. It's all big business exposing you to all this. Ya never truly had a choice in what you like unless you research truly obscure stuff, like hands on and on your own.
