Tell me, tell me what you see? (oh wow)
Wanna watch baby like a like a movie screen (oh wow)
Gonna get what I want
Want you on your knees (oh wow)
Give it up, baby don't you, don't you make a scene (oh wow)
So come on turn me
Take a good snapshot
Get me from my better angle
Cause I like it hot
And you know I love a scandal
Tell me what you what you waiting for?
Touch me (touch me)
I wanna feel you on my body
Put your hands on me
Come on and love me
You wanna get it boy
I'll give it to the count of three
Hold me closer
Don't wanna take it slow
I wanna go somewhere where we can be alone
Touch me (touch me)
I wanna feel you on my body
Put your hands on me
Do you like when I'm leaning leaning into you? (oh wow)
Close your eyes
Baby breathe in breathe in my perfume (oh wow)
Dim the lights, take it slow like a dream come true (oh wow)
Cause tonight I'm a show you what to do (oh wow)
So come on turn me
Baby be my Marlon Brando
Take a good snapshot
Get me from my better angle
Cause I like it hot
And you know I love a scandal
Tell me what you what you waiting for?
Touch me (touch me)
I wanna feel you on my body
Put your hands on me
Come on and love me
You wanna get it boy
I'll give it to the count of three
Hold me closer
Don't wanna take it slow
I wanna go somewhere where we can be alone
Touch me (touch me)
I wanna feel you on my body
Put your hands on me
Every move that I could make
You are trending
Put your hands around my waist
Boy set me free
Not much more that I can take
If you don't take it all
Touch me (touch me)
I wanna feel you on my body
Put your hands on me
Come on and love me
You wanna get it boy
I'll give it to the count of three
Hold me closer
Don't wanna take it slow
I wanna go somewhere where we can be alone
Touch me (touch me)
I wanna feel you on my body
Put your hands on me
In "Touch Me," Katharine McPhee sings about a seductive encounter with a lover. The song opens with her asking her partner to look at her and tell her what they see before describing how she wants to be watched like a movie screen. She asserts her power and demands that her partner submit to her, wanting them on their knees and not to make a scene. McPhee compares herself to Marlon Brando, wanting her partner to capture her from her best angle and anticipating a hot and scandalous encounter.
Throughout the song, she explicitly expresses her desire for physical touch and urges her partner to love her, giving them a count of three to make a move. The chorus repeats the phrase "Touch Me" multiple times, emphasizing McPhee's craving for physical contact. The song is about giving into desires and taking charge of a sexual encounter.
The lyrics use vivid imagery and comparisons to classic Hollywood to describe McPhee's desire for physical connection. The message of the song can be taken as a feminist assertion of a woman's sexual agency and control in a relationship.

I loved this performance. Katherine McPhee is such such a powerhouse. She is a triple threat. I love her. And Christian Borle. And Megan Hilty. Ellis annoyed me. The whole Mahatma Katie thing… 🤔 weird. But Ioved the first season of this show so much. Loved it.

only thing i dont like about this video is shes not dancing right she needs to get with jlo shakira p!nk and christina agualera and learn to dance and get pink to help her smooth the music out its to load and to electric sounding for the words in the song needs to be mor r&b sounding like jlo pink and christina like christina fighter song sound would match the words in that song but hey other then that shes hot and beautiful and has a fucking awesome voice just needs to get the rythm of music to match it instead of sounding like shes yelling to just keep up with the music

Isn't creativity, music, dance, art subjective though - speaking as an actress myself drama school was full of different interpretations - nothing was wrong - it was just a different way to go - and different line of expression.

girl, you have to watch the show to understand the whole performance. It is not about dancing as Shakira or whatsoever lmao.
Laura Alice
@Marcos G. Díaz but hey you got your opinion and i have mine on this but if imma listen to a song lik this or sing a song like this im gonna actually move with the beat not just stand there and swing my arms out like im trying push something away or trying to figure out how to swim
Em
@Laura Alice the dancing goes with the storyline... it makes more sense in the context of the show and the feelings/emotions they are portraying in the movement. It was intentional for a reason.
Laura Alice
