Kathy Soul Central feat. Brown Lyrics

Who might be able to relate to
What I am gonna do,
You've had to put up with all the lying,
Cheating, back stabbin',
So many years
And too many tears,
But I realised,
'Cause I'm stronger now,
Stronger on my Own!
Yeah, you can't hurt me boy,
Nah no, noooo baby,
'Cause I'm stronger on my own,
You wanna go it alone,
Or go lonely,
Y'see you let me down so many times before,
But right here in my mind,
You are the only, the only one I love
But I showed you the door,
If you could see me now,
And what I was back then,
You'd swear I was a different girl,
Oh, believe me boy,
I had to make a choice,
No more would you destroy my world,
No more that I can take
Don't need to serve this dish you made,
'Cause I'm stronger on my own,
I'm stronger on my own,
Right now I see,
Just where I wanna be,
And it's better on my own
I'm stronger on my own
No more that I can take
Don't need to serve this dish you made,
'Cause I'm stronger on my own,
I'm stronger on my own,
'Cause right now I see,
Just where I wanna be,
'Cause it's better on my own
I'm stronger on my own
The song "Strings of Life" by Kathy Soul Central feat. Brown is an empowering anthem about moving on from a toxic relationship and finding strength in being alone. The opening lyrics address anyone who has dealt with the pain of being lied to and betrayed, suggesting that the singer has also gone through this experience for too many years. However, she has reached a turning point and come to the realization that she doesn't have to suffer anymore. She declares that she is now stronger and can no longer be hurt by the man who caused her so much pain.
As the song progresses, the singer addresses the man directly, telling him that he has let her down too many times before. While he may have been the only one she loved before, she has now shown him the door and moved on. She recognizes that she had to make a choice to protect herself from further destruction of her world. In the end, the singer has found that being alone is better and she is now stronger on her own.
Overall, "Strings of Life" is a powerful song about finding inner strength after a difficult and painful experience. It encourages anyone who has gone through a similar experience to realize that they don't have to suffer anymore and that being alone is better than enduring a harmful relationship.

Some of the comments are depressing- I'm a huge house fan and love the underground classics, including the original of this. This version is some feel good vocal house. Anyone saying it's 'blasphemy' to produce it is a snob. The two versions can coexist.
@skurinski
exactly, the whiners are just annoying
@Stassis
The original Strings is something else. It's timeless. No need for imitations.
