He first started recording in the early 1970s with Jefferson Airplane violinist Papa John Creach. Creach hired him when Moore was just twenty-one years old; Moore appeared on four of Creach's albums.
He was further immersed in the blues with his long stint in the Whodunit Band, headed by Bobby "Blue" Bland producer Monk Higgins. Moore jammed with Albert Collins and Big Joe Turner.
In 1996 he released Just Like You, which featured guest appearances from Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt.
In 2004, he appeared on Amy Grant: Greatest Hits 1986-2004 in a duet entitled "Come Be with Me", which became a modest success on pop radio.
In 2005 he appeared on Buddy Guy's version of "Ain't No Sunshine", along with Tracy Chapman. That same year, he appeared on Eric Clapton's album Back Home. In 2006, he co-wrote the song, "I Hope", with the Dixie Chicks for their album, Taking the Long Way.
Moore also provided vocals to Marcus Miller's 2007 album, Free on the track entitled "Milky Way" and again on Miller's 2008 album entitled, Marcus.
According to Songfacts, in 2010 I See Love was used as the opening theme tune for American sitcom Mike & Molly.

-----
Keb' Mo' is one of the foremost contemporary blues artists. With an endearing sense of faith in humanity evident on most of his tracks and a very interestingly textured voice, this man has successfully merged traditional Delta blues and modern acoustic singer-songwritership. While it's a stretch to call him a traditionalist, Keb' Mo' plays a mean guitar, and the meticulously played guitar on each one of his songs is awe-inspiring.
After spending his early career backing blues artists up, he released his debut album in 1994. He also appeared in Scorsese's film about the blues. As the only man to my knowlege that has incorporated the word "internet" into a blues song, it is clear that Keb' Mo' is unique and has, in an unprecedented manner, carved out his own genre that never fails to make the listener smile.
Life Is Beautiful
Keb' Mo' Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Let's go sailing on the sea
Let's go dancing on the juke-join floor
And leave our troubles all behind, have a party
So easily forgotten, are the most important things
Like the melody and the moonlight in your eyes
And a song that lasts forever
Life is beautiful, life is wonderous
Every star above shining just for us
Life is beautiful, on a stormy night
Somewhere in the world the sun is shining bright
I get crazy, so afraid
That I might lose you some fine day
And I'll be nothing but a tired old man
And I don't wanna be without you at the party
So easily forgotten, the most important thing
Is that I love you - I do
And I want to spend my days and nights
Walking through this crazy world with you
Life is beautiful, life is wonderous
Every star above shining just for us
Life is beautiful, on a stormy night
Somewhere in the world the sun is shining bright
(inst verse)
So easily forgotten, the most important thing
Is that I love you - I do
And I want to spend my days and nights
Walking through this crazy world with you
(that's right baby)
Life is beautiful, life is wonderous
Every star above shining just for us
Life is beautiful, on a stormy night
Somewhere in the world the sun is shining bright
Shining Bright
The first verse of Keb' Mo''s "Life Is Beautiful" invites the listener to forget about their troubles and join in on the fun. The repetition of the phrase "Let's go" creates a sense of excitement and urgency, urging the listener to follow the singer's lead in letting go of their worries. The descriptions of drifting through the trees, sailing on the sea, and dancing on the juke-join floor paint a picture of carefree enjoyment of life's natural and social pleasures. The joyful tone is maintained throughout the verse until the end when the line "And leave our troubles all behind, have a party" emphasizes the theme of escaping from life's difficulties.
The second verse shifts to a more introspective reflection on the fleeting nature of life and the things that matter most. The contrast between things that are easily forgotten and those that last forever highlights the importance of appreciating the present moment and cherishing the people in our lives. The repetition of the phrase "Life is beautiful" emphasizes this message and encourages the listener to focus on the positive aspects of life rather than dwelling on the negative. The final line of the verse "Each song getting better all the time" creates a sense of optimism and growth, suggesting that life is a continuous journey of improvement and discovery.
The final verse is a declaration of love and commitment to a partner, with the theme of appreciating the present extended into the realm of relationships. The line "I get crazy, so afraid that I might lose you some fine day" reveals the singer's vulnerability and fear of loss, making the subsequent line "And I don't wanna be without you at the party" all the more poignant. The final repetition of "Life is beautiful" ties together the themes of the song and reinforces the idea that life's beauty and wonder lie in the relationships and connections we make.
