Keep Shelly In Athens Lyrics

Times that we borrow,
To wallow
Inside...
To come back in glow
To come back in sorrow
Tomorrow...
Lay down
We're silent
Frozen fractals,
Now we're shading our way...
My threads are worn
My words are broken
Broken
Spirits reborn
Feelings awoken
Unspoken
Lay down
We're silent
Frozen fractals,
Now we're fading away...
Lay down
We're silent
Frozen fractals,
Now we're voices still shiverin'...
Fractals
Fractals
Fractals...
The song "Fairytale" by Keep Shelly In Athens is a mysterious and dreamy track that tackles the themes of memories, feelings, and spirits. The opening line, "fading distant memory," sets the mood of the song, conveying a sense of nostalgia and longing. The following lines, "times that we borrow, to wallow inside," refer to the way we often dwell on memories and let them consume us, even if they are not entirely our own experiences. The repetition of the phrase "to come back in glow, to come back in sorrow tomorrow," illustrates how memories can inspire hope and positivity, but can also bring forth pain and sadness.
The chorus of the song, "lay down we're silent, frozen fractals," describes a state of stillness and contemplation. The fractals could symbolize the patterns and intricacies of memories and emotions, while the frozen state could indicate a reluctance to let go of them. The lines "my threads are worn, my words are broken" suggest that the singer is tired and has been through some struggles, but then the lines "spirits reborn, feelings awoken, unspoken" imply that there is still hope for renewal and growth.
Overall, "Fairytale" is a beautiful and enigmatic song that encourages introspection and reflection on our past experiences and how they shape who we are.

I listen to this and am overcome with the melancholy of how trivial our place in time is compared to the eternity that passed before us and the eternity that will come after us. What seems so significant now is nothing more than a single grain in the sands of time.

And yet is a single straw that breaks the back of camels and a single snowflake too many that causes the avalanche. We might not be here long. But we can do something even if it's unlikely.

Shelly recalled her previous life while on a visit to Athens and she fell in love with the land.
The sacred ruins harnessed energy and ancient memories that felt like deep nostalgia. Raw excitement and deep yearning to experience more overwhelmed Shelly. Ten more times she went back and each time came back wiser, spiritual and happier.
Life was very happy back home as were ascension rippled through her social circles.
All snow must settle, she must return to Athens, this time to stay.
Not just a holiday, she longs to stay and her tribes desire this for she deserves her paradise.
May all angels find their home.

Great analysis. How do you explain their song Recollections?

I’m a nervous flyer and I’ve played this during many a take-off at the beginning of a long haul flight over recent years. The fear completely leaves me. Can’t explain it
