Boothe seemed, at the time, to have the makings of an international, long-lasting, hit maker, certainly when compared to most of the other latter-day reggae acts. His smoother style gave him a wider appeal, rather like UB40 and Aswad. Boothe's choice of songs also showed the breadth of his musical taste. But for all that, he only managed one more hit in the UK Chart, "Crying over You", which made Number 11.
In more recent times, Boothe has also recorded for Bunny Lee, Phil Pratt, King Jammy, Pete Weston, Jack Ruby, Hugh "Red Man" James, Castro Brown, and Tappa Zukie. Plus in 1995, he teamed up with Shaggy, for a new styled version of his old track, "The Train Is Coming", which appeared on the soundtrack of the film, Money Train.
A double-disc overview of Boothe's Trojan years, Crying over You, was released by the label in 2001.

Ain't No Love
Ken Boothe Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Like my baby's love
It's like burning fire
Locked up in my bones
Ain't no lonely lonely days
Ain't no lonely lonely nights
And every littl' thing she does
I know that girl's all right
Cause I'll never find me a girl
No I'll never find me a girl
Who loves me like you do
Ain't no man Who got a sweet woman like me
You got every every everything everything, Baby
That one big men can claim
She's every point pointstream (?)
And she's ever rich man's bride
But I don't need no money, Honey
‘Cause you're always there
‘Cause I'll never never find me a girl
No I'll never never find me a girl
To loves like you do
Oh no... I'll never gonna find that girl
No I'll never never find me a girl To love like you do
Houh houh ou ou ou
In Ken Boothe's song "Ain't No Love," the lyrics express the profound love and admiration the singer has for his partner. He describes how his baby's love is like a burning fire locked up in his bones, indicating that he feels a strong passion for her. The singer also highlights the fact that he never feels lonely or sad since his partner is always by his side. He states that there is no other girl in the world who can love him the way his partner does, and he acknowledges that he is lucky to have her.
The lyrics also suggest that the singer doesn't care about money or material things because his partner's love is worth more than anything else. He mentions that she is every rich man's bride, but he would still choose her over anyone else. The repetition of the lyrics, "I'll never find me a girl, no I'll never find me a girl, to love like you do," emphasizes the strength of the singer's love for his partner and how he believes that he will never find someone else who could love him the way she does.
Overall, "Ain't No Love" is a song about true love and how it can bring immense happiness and fulfillment in one's life.
