In this song, Kenny Holland seems to be addressing a person who he is very attached to. He says that this person is everywhere he goes and everyone he meets, and that they are always on his mind, to the point where they seem to be the name of every street. Holland then pleads with this person to let him in and allow him to love them completely. He goes on to say that he feels like he's running in circles because he can't seem to get enough of this person or find a way to be with them permanently, but he is determined to keep trying until he succeeds. Holland then sings the chorus, where he seems to be giving himself permission to make mistakes and do things his own way if it means he can be with this person. He acknowledges that others may think he's crazy, but he doesn't care because being with this person is the only thing that can make him "right."
The second verse starts with Holland lamenting his inability to either stay awake or fall asleep due to thoughts of this person consuming his every waking moment. He continues to bang away at his piano, hoping that somehow this person will magically materialize in front of him, but he acknowledges that it is probably just wishful thinking. Holland then sings the chorus again and adds a bridge where he pleads with this person not to leave him alone because he is already feeling so alone. He swears that he will never stop trying to win this person back, even if it feels like the love he has for them has turned into stone. The song then ends with Holland repeating the chorus a few more times.
