This group was headed by PE Bomb Squad producer Keith Shocklee, who was then using the name "Wizard K-Jee" and made a lot of noise in the Queens and Long Island area. This was recorded just before Public Enemy took off, and. as they say, the rest is history! Dayum!!! I remember them playing this at the Silver Shadow in Manhattan. Everybody would lose they mind and hit the dance floor with or without a dance partner; then the DJ would keep mixin' it down on two tables for at least 30 minutes. My feet would be screamin' because of the heels, but I couldn't feel a thang on this song.

I was sixteen when this came out - massive thanks to Morgan Khan and the streetsounds crew for bring this sound to the attention of us UK kids at the time who were considered freaks for breaking , graffitti and djing . Still got my technics set up and all my 3 rooms of vinyl - so much for a fad eh !! Keep it alive all you 40plus yr olds out there now - still the best music around !!!!!!!!!!!!!

tell you what finally did it for me..edr, 96.5,103.5 and 105.1 on the presets in my car..took the kids to the new and improved virginia key beach...on the drive,which only took 25 minutes from down south, same song was played...at the same time..by three of the four stations...twice.sick.
