When I listened to this song for the first time I was 5 and my dad was 29. We loved this song. I was obsessed with it. Life was happier for both of us back then. When we didn't have to worry about War, youth unemployment... Life was simpler, happier, better. This song is part of me. It never left my memories, it comes back every once in a while. One of the best songs I know, together with Give Me Everything, Bohemian Rhapsody and The Soviet Connection. 13 years later, and this song still makes me cry. I miss those times. This song is still beautiful to this day. March 8, 2024 and I'm still listening. Time flies fast. Listening to this at age 5 and age 18 still has the same effect. I don't know if my dad remembers the song. Time passed for him too, he's 42 now. I'll play this song on the speaker at max volume and tell him "remember when we used to listen to this masterpiece 13 years ago ?". Memories. It feels fantastic to know you have grown up with this kind of music.
