I’m feeling super upbeat. I’m feeling peppy. How can I display this in a song? And, pretty much, we got the basis of the beat. With other music that I’ve made, I kind of give odes to some of my inspiration. But I was like, “You know what, how can I make this not sound like it? How can I give the same vibe that you would get if you listened to their song, but at the same time, it’s a completely different record?” And that was really based on Rihanna’s “Who’s That Chick.”"
