Khatia said in an interview that if she hadn't gone to dark places in life and music and explored the extremities then she could've never understood how beautiful simple music is. Meaning that all these years of effort were needed to play a piece as simple as this one this magically powerful, sensual and beautiful.

shadows only appear when we stand in sunlight... have those guts! both powers show our ways to go, or not to...
Luigi Rinaldi Petrof
what you mean by dark places?
Peter Balchin

Jerry Rocket and the Go Go Girls

Joanmarie Therese Parkin PARKIN
This is water dripping from a tap..a bird's flight across the sky.
No trace..tong pas nyi..the void .full but spacious ..the paradox of a mind imprisoned by life in a body....pure ..yet infinitely loneliness.. just my thoughts...heart breaking open to be free
Antonios Kokiantonis
Erik Satie's masterpiece, is the proof that simple things can be extremely powerful!!
Particulas de Caos
Why do you think is a masterpiece?
Antonios Kokiantonis
@Particulas de Caos it has the balance as a whole, a masterpiece should have, in all forms of art. Como Picasso's Guernica. By the way I've seen your painting! Tu eres una muy buena pintora!
Daddy
I just think this piece is overrated.
