It's a really meaningful song for us, and we wanted something of the spirit of it to come with us into this second album. So we listened to it backwards, learned to play it in reverse, then added a few new ideas into it that reflected who we are as a band now.
We recorded it nearly exactly six years later, and it's become this connective tissue between the two records, a kind of reminder to us about how far we've come together.

One day I’m gonna be an old man living in my dream house somewhere sunny. A lovely old build with a nice bit of land for animals and the like. I’ll have a big garage to paint and create art in. My wife will be a right tonic and my grand kids will come and have some of their fondest memories at our place.
In this era of my life I’ll wake up early, say about 7am? I’ll put this song on having not heard it for months.. perhaps years?
And I’ll laugh. I’ll laugh at what a ride it’s been. I’ll laugh at the “troubles” I faced when this song first floated its way into my story.
I’ll grin at the sun.
Then I’ll check my tech device and see the date..
