Wassup?
Hhhmm, nigga
Yes, me
Haha
Yeah
Im back baby
Cudder
(Sample)
Ottoman couch
How, handsome your furniture,lovelier now
But, dressed for a funeral
Begging you to sit for a portrait on the wall
To hang in the dark
Of some parlamentairy hall
Stay home a lot, no TV
Just thoughts and a heap of good weed
Same jeans, same old converse
Bape tees and a Walees, so works
I'm cool some niggas mad at it
Looking in from the outside, fantastic
Can't keep that negative alive
Baby on my dick, if kid cudi die
Don't cry hater
I forgive, now go and get my album and get off my dick
Smile, aint it pleasant, the weed is the escence
But if i'm in a club we gon tear the shit up
I'm talking 'bout shots, ridiculous amounts
Cause if you gonna raise, should be all about
Take, take another shot or you soft, dream on campaign
I'm the mother-loving boss
Haters suck my balls, two-time
I never say goodbye cause i'm on mine
All my life wanna do something major
Now every little thing I do might make it on a paper
Cudi found y'all nigga, po-po (whatever)
Mad drunk in the street, no photo (I rage)
Hatin mutherfuckers, i don't know yo
I guess this was the life i chose, when they get up in my mind
Wanna know about me and Amanda Bynes (Amanda please)
Wanna know really really really who i'm datin
Is she civilian, a super duper famous?
Is she african-american, caucasian or asian?
Or maybe spanish
It don't matter my nigga I love them all
As long as she don't need stupid amounts of make-up to make up her self esteem
Selfish dreams can reflect the blessing
I am that blessing on a cloud
Successful raps, I might scream out loud
Putting it down for all I met
Talking fans, i won't quit
I'm putting it down for all I met
I'm talking fans, i won't quit
Hey, Hey , Hey
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa
Hey
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa
Hey
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa
Hey
Sto-oo-o-oo-ne
Na, na na na, na na, na
Goodbye.
In the opening lines of "Cudderisback," Kid Cudi announces his return after a brief hiatus. He then launches into a free-flowing stream of consciousness that touches on a range of topics, from his fashion choices to his drug use to his relationships. He laments the pressures of fame and the negativity that comes with it, but also revels in his success and the adoration of his fans. He ends the song with a triumphant assertion that he's putting it all out there for his followers and won't stop no matter what.
One of the most striking things about "Cudderisback" is its sample, which comes from a track called "Parliament Court" by the British band Patrick Street. The song is built around a hauntingly beautiful guitar melody that sounds like it could have been lifted from an old folk ballad. Kid Cudi uses this sample as a backdrop for his introspective musings, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that adds to the song's surreal feel.
Aside from the sample, there are a few other noteworthy musical elements in "Cudderisback." The beat is fairly simple and sparse, consisting mainly of a heavy bassline and some crisp hi-hats. At the same time, Kid Cudi's vocal delivery is more conversational than melodic, with few obvious hooks or choruses. This gives the song a raw, unpolished quality that feels more like a freestyle than a carefully crafted track.
Overall, "Cudderisback" is a deeply personal song that reveals a lot about Kid Cudi's mindset and creative process. It's a testament to his willingness to be vulnerable and share his innermost thoughts with his fans, even when they're not always flattering or easy to hear.
