Start the seance
Them [?] 'til I finally say alright
Never will I close my eyes I like to see my speaker [?]
Hello birdie, what's the wording?
How do you do?
How do you play
Climb your mountain, think you're a fountain, don't you get to ride my face
Play the asshole on stage
Play the clitoris code is morse, a thousand thank you's way too late
What's the case?
Through the agony and strife I see my soul so called stinking life
Through the agony and strife I see my soul so called stinking life
Through the agony and strife I see my soul so called stinking life
Through the agony and strife I see my soul so called stinking life
In "Séance Chaos" by Kid Cudi, the lyrics paint a picture of chaos and introspection. The repetition of the word "chaos" emphasizes the tumultuous state of the singer's mind. The song begins with the suggestion of starting a seance, a spiritual practice that involves communicating with the dead. This sets the stage for a deeply introspective journey.
The lyrics also reference the singer's desire to stay awake and conscious, as they enjoy the stimulation and connection they find in music ("I like to see my speaker"). The mention of a bird and questioning how it plays and communicates implies a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world.
As the song continues, Kid Cudi plays with contrasts and roles. He alternates between being the teacher and the student, the asshole and the performer on stage. This suggests a complex exploration of identity and the various masks people wear in different situations. The reference to the clitoris and Morse code adds a layer of metaphorical playfulness and suggests hidden messages or sensations.
The repeated line "Through the agony and strife I see my soul so called stinking life" reflects a certain disillusionment or dissatisfaction with life. The singer acknowledges the hardships they have endured but also observes their own soul and the contradictions within their own existence.
Overall, "Séance Chaos" is a introspective and thought-provoking track that delves into themes of identity, curiosity, and existential questioning.
