I'll be there to say what up in the morning
brush my teeth find that clip I been lookin' for since last night
I feel so caught up, in a bud
I floats around in my bedroom
turn around see myself in the mirror I guess I'm cool
And those happy thoughts in my head
I'm feeling like I'm Peter Pan
Happy to see how far I've come to the same place
It began my dreams imaginations
Perfectly at peace so I move along a bit higher
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause they gon' judge me anyway so whatever
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause in the end they'll judge me any so whatever
I learn, I see the dreams are made so I'm cooler now
I could take care of my mom and my little niece Suri
So sing along lil' mama you ain't gotta worry 'bout no drama no,
I provide for friends and fam' and fans Cleveland city we grinding man
stay at flow the kids hope
I never let a motherfucka break me dog
Who gives a fuck if a nigga don't like your steeds
Tell 'em to buzz off your N-U-T's we don't care what people say
dudes who critique your clothes on most day
I ain't gotta wait for no one If I wanna fly I could fly for freedom, hey!
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause they gon' judge me anyway so whatever
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause in the end they'll judge me any so whatever
Wake up wake up wake wake up
Wake up wake up wake wake up, yeah!
Wake up wake up wake wake up (We'll be rollin' on up)
Wake up wake up wake wake up (We'll be rollin' on up)
Wake up wake up wake wake up (We'll be rollin' on up)
Wake up wake up wake wake up (I'll be rollin' on up)
Wake up wake up wake wake up
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause they gon' judge me anyway so whatever
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause in the end they'll judge me any so whatever
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause they gon' judge me anyway so whatever
I'll be up up and away, up up and away
Cause in the end they'll judge me any so whatever
Whatever, so whatever
Whatever, so whatever
The end is never the end.
A new challenge awaits.
A test no man could be prepared for.
A new hell he must conquer and destroy.
A new level of growth he must confront himself.
The machine in the ghost within.
This is the journey of the man on the moon.
Kid Cudi's song Up Up is a triumphant, motivational song about overcoming adversity and following your dreams. The opening verse sets the scene for the rest of the song, as Kid Cudi describes waking up in the morning feeling caught up in a "bud", but ultimately feeling happy with who he is and how far he's come. The chorus is a catchy, anthemic hook that encourages the listener to be themselves, regardless of how others may judge them. Kid Cudi asserts that he's come a long way from the beginning of his journey, and he's learned that he can take care of his family and fans while pursuing his dreams. The song encourages the listener to ignore the naysayers and follow their own path in life.
One interesting fact about Up Up is that Kid Cudi has said the song was inspired by the animated TV show Dragon Ball Z, specifically the character Goku's ability to fly. The chorus of the song, "I'll be up up and away", is a reference to this. Another interesting fact is that Kid Cudi wrote the song while he was in rehab for depression and suicidal thoughts. He has said that writing the song was a way for him to express his feelings in a positive way and remind himself that he had the strength to overcome his struggles. The song features production from Kid Cudi's frequent collaborator, Dot da Genius, and was released as a single in 2010.
Another interesting fact about the song is that it features a spoken-word outro from Kid Cudi that describes his journey as "the man on the moon". This is a reference to his debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Kid Cudi has said that the album was inspired by his experiences with drug addiction and depression and that it was a way for him to tell his story through music. The album was critically acclaimed and helped establish Kid Cudi as a major force in hip-hop.
The song has a relatively simple chord progression, consisting mainly of G, C, and D chords. The verses and chorus both follow this structure. The bridge section features a slightly different progression that goes from Bb to C to F. The song is played in standard tuning with a capo on the 3rd fret, but it can also be played without a capo by using different chord voicings. Overall, Up Up is a powerful, uplifting song that encourages the listener to pursue their dreams and overcome challenges.

Jacob Morenzoni If you have to preface your comment with "i hate to be that guy" then you should probably shut your fucking mouth and move on. Seriously.
Do you not think that I have to live with the fact the I did a lot of drugs when i was younger? I stopped smoking weed 2 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't wonder if it's done any permanent damage to me. I can't undo the countless bong hits. i can't go back and stop myself from smoking pot, taking mushrooms, mdma or any of the other drugs I've done I just have to live with it.
there's plenty of information out there on pot and some studies completely contradict each other. Some sources claim there's little harm done from smoking weed at any age, others claim massive physiological changes to the brain. Im pretty sure you're not a doctor, a chemist, a neurobiologist so whatever information you can regurgitate isn't any better than what i can offer up.
has it effected me? yes. How much so? I really don't know. Would my memory and general cognitive abilities be better if i hadn't done any drugs? I honestly can't say, I just have to live with it.
thanks for reminding me that you can't come online and reminisce about the simple and stupid days of your youth without some asshole having to chime in and say "ooh buut drugs are bad blah blah blah"
